Great location. Right next to ferry port taking you to Miyajima. Hotel staff were friendly. Room was a bit outdated but decent size and bathroom was good. Standout of the hotel is the onsite restaurant. I had forgotten that I had included dinner in my reservation and so was shocked at the absolute banquet I received over my two nights stay. So many dishes all of which were super fresh and tasty. Primarily fish based which is understandable given location. Staff again friendly although all do not speak English so be understanding of this. Breakfast was also more than adequate. Also really liked the nice touch of the hotel offering a money voucher which could be used at the gift shop or cafe if you agreed to not have the room cleaned over a certain period. All in all great value for money, and great location if you are wanting to visit Miyajima.

I went to Miyajima on a family trip and used it for the first time. It is a feeling that the old good old inn built by the sea near the bustling shopping street which is the main street is renovated for the present age, and the whole facility ~ the facilities in the room are unified and beautifully arranged It was a very nice inn where you can feel the old history in 々 while being able to feel it. There are many free services available only for guests. The hotel has a lounge with free drinks to enjoy the scenery in the lobby and the top floor, and there is also a service where you can choose multiple pillows and yukata according to your preference. There are plenty of drinks and sweets in the room, so I didn't have to worry about the expenses of fine beverages. This inn will respond as flexibly and pleasantly as possible to the wishes of the guests. For example, in our case this time, when we told our family in advance that there are people with bad legs, they can install a bed in a Japanese-style room, and change the basic dishes provided to each person's taste. Even if I was lost, I was able to make a flexible response and suggestion immediately, so I was able to spend a very comfortable time. The hot spring is in the basement, and it has an old-fashioned atmosphere with only a large bathtub １, and it is not so large, and the scenery is not good because it is in the basement. Compared to the hot spring resorts devised at this time, it may feel unsatisfactory, but it is clean and the temperature is around ４０ degrees, so it is ”good old” while taking a long bath. I felt that it was a place to enjoy. It was stated that the quality of the hot water was slightly salty and smooth, and it was pumped and boiled from the source. I was able to take a comfortable bath without being squeezed or dry even by families with weak skin. Unfortunately, there are no open-air baths or private baths, but some rooms have open-air baths with rooms, so I think you can choose according to your taste. What should be noted here is the wonderfulness of the food. The amount of meals varies or is insufficient depending on the course and price, which is often a big preparation at such a large inn, and the impression and quality of appearance are greatly different from the images on the site. Instead of having a sense of failure such as the dishes that were cold at the time of serving inn dishes, we were able to provide a wonderful dish of a more impressive level. This time we were in the room, and it was originally said that Masazen was the basic set, but ４ kind of seasonal course dishes (Masazen, delicious fish, delicious meat, delicious feast) with guidance on the site. I requested it at the stage of advance reservation and received everything with my family. There is no loss at all in every course, and the abundant ingredients unique to the land are carefully prepared, and all of them are very delicious, and the individual dishes requested by the order are prepared quickly. At the end, he made rice balls for dinner, which were full and could not be eaten, and he was able to provide a supreme time beyond the best. In addition, the breakfast at the dining hall I received the next morning was surprisingly luxurious with a large number of items, but the amount was gradually appropriate and very satisfying. The seasoning is natural, healthy, and exquisite taste adjustment and appropriate temperature, which does not rely on artificial taste operations such as umami seasonings, while protecting the gentle flavor that makes the best use of the goodness of fresh ingredients. The location is very good, just a few minutes walk to the Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Mt. Misen Ropeway station. There is a free shuttle bus station right outside the hotel to go the ropeway station. You can see the Torii throughout the hotel window. At night when the Torii with lights on, the view is stunning! The indoor onsen is not big but it's ok for 10+ people at the same time, the outside onsen is small and can only occupies 4-5ppl. The staff in the hotel are very friendly and thoughtful. I was fully wet after the hiking to Mt. Mismen on the raining day, they helped me to dry all my shoes and coat. Happy to stay at Iwaso and will definitely stay again.

Near the pier, up a hill, the environment is quiet, the bathhouse is not big, and fortunately there are not many people. The breakfast is exquisite. Some of the waiters are from Taiwan, so communication is no problem. From the rooms on the sixth floor of the hotel, you can see the old ruins of Miyao Castle on the key mountain (the site of the Itsukushima Battle), and you can see the large torii gate from the side, and the view is acceptable.

ＪＲ This is a route-in series hotel about 15 minutes walk from Miyajima Guchi. Small 々 I arrived early, but check-in was smooth and I received ice service while looking at the sea and was in the room. There is a bed and a sofa on the tatami mats, and the TV is large. Above all, the Seto Inland Sea and Miyajima were desired because it was on the sea side. I could see the sea and Miyajima from the open-air bath in the large communal bath on the 1st floor, and I was soaked in the hot water for the first time in a while. I was also satisfied with the drink service including draft beer after the bath. Breakfast is from 6:30 to Hakozen ＋ Viking. Although it is a mixture of Japanese and Western styles, the balance of the dishes is good, and I just ate too much. The view from the dining room was good, and the response of the employees was good as Hiro 々. There is also a shuttle bus to Miyajima Guchi, but it is within walking distance. However, the road has a lot of traffic for cars including large cars, so walk with caution. There is also a direct oyster sales area and a convenience store along the way.

After battling crowds in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and Hiroshima, Miyajima and the Hotel Miyajima Villa were a welcome respite. Indeed, we so enjoyed our stay that we added an additional night. Before and after the arrival and departure of day trippers from Hiroshima, we felt as though we had the island and its wild deer all to ourselves. The hotel is immaculate, ideally located (a few steps from the ferry and a short walk to the island's attractions) and staffed by incredibly helpful, friendly and energetic staff. A hearty breakfast got each day off to a solid start while our afternoon soaks in the top floor onsen were perfect for getting rid of kinks from a day of sightseeing.
