Havelock Island Beach Resort

This was my second time I stayed at this property, last it was 2 years back in June, I must say, the property was just amazing as that time, but now they have big reception area, their private beach is just amazing to enjoy throughout, also the gala dinner night, It is amazing to go, relax and have amazing time, the USP definitely is having inhouse Dive Center, Dive Andaman, really enjoyed during scuba diving with them too. I' my friends were really happy with our stay here and I totally recommend this property. Surely visiting Andaman, Havelock visit this property! Best part is very close to the ferry point!

It's a amazing resort with added facilities of scuba diving training and the pool is also too good. So if you're looking for scuba diving in Andaman, this is the place to be 🔥 Also the food and service is top notch. So if you're having a big group then this place should not be missed

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! Absolutely terrible. We were booked in for 3 nights and to be honest I couldn't even have stayed 1 night! The rooms are dated and dirty. Very small with lots of rubbish outside your door and around the grounds. The resteraunt had a pile of rubbish at the open door. There are padlocks on the doors to the rooms. No safe. So basic. There is no way this should be advertised let alone as a 4 star hotel. I wouldn't even give it 2 stars. The manager offered to change our room after keeping us waiting for ages however, the standard was so poor this was just not an option. We couldn't even get a cab from there and had to walk up the road with our luggage to find a decent hotel. Stay here at your own peril!

We had a 3 day stay in sea view room in holiday island beach resort. I won't recommend sea view facing rooms as it's not worth the price you pay for it. The rooms are similar or I can say worse than other rooms in the resort and you will have constant disturbance due to loud music at night. We did ask the property care taker to change our room to which he agreed and shifted us to a normal room ( we paid ~15k for sea view facing rooms and other room were priced at around 9K) but didn't provide any extra benefit or return the extra money we paid for the sea facing room. The restaurant service is very poor, the staffs are unaware of the items put in the menu and we were made to wait for more than 1.5 hours just to get the food. It's mentioned as a 4 star property but believe me other properties like sea shell and silver sand are really worth the price you pay rather than this property. If I need to rate the property I would give a 2 out of 10 for overall experience. I would never ever suggest anyone to pay a hefty price for a stay in havelock island beach resort.

Have been to this resort in the first week of January, an all girl family trip, with my sister and two young girls. The staff is friendly but for the amount we have paid (being peak season according to them, basic room costed 9,440 per night), bathrooms are just average;( not dry bathrooms, not even a curtain as partition for shower area) No deep cleaning when we checked in. The bed sheets spread were also just average. The reaort as such was good with lighting and other decoration., accessible to beach for a walk; swimming pool etc. However in front of room 505 I think, a pool facing room, water was draining into an area, which has stink of drainage. I have alerted the staff there regarding this. Breakfast area was small for the number of occupants those two days and we could hardly get a seat to sit around 8 AM. Food tasted average. Even though wide spread, I would say it was below average arrangements for the crowd they expected at peak season I have booked the room by calling a number that was available online. I want to caution fellow travellers; I was given room tariff as INR 9440 initially and then even after following up multiple times to send the scan for advance payment and for confirmation, on the WhatsApp number, didn’t receive a response. And suddenly received a message increasing the room tariff. I had to argue with the concerned saying that it wasn’t my fault that the tariff keeps changing and that they haven’t responded for my messages. Out of courtesy I am not mentioning the name of the person with whom I have interacted. At the reception while check in, Mr Amit who was a new employee was very helpful, friendly and courteous. On one night it rained heavily and we were supposed to go out to a nearby place. Staff has arranged for a drop to that place❤️ But for the courteous staff, I would have rated it a 2 star for the room tariff vis a vis the amenities provided.

Broken soap dispenser, overhead show not working, corroded fire extinguisher (scary!), higgledy piggledy tiling in the bathroom, toilet roll holder is next to the shower (not clever!), smoke alarm stored the the dressing drawer (how's that helpful?). The whole room and the dining room smells of damp! The food is mediocre, at best. The only highlight of this place it it's location and an actual private beach, the garden and area are very well decorated and lit. That was the best part of our evening to enjoy the sea breeze. This place could be SO much more with better training and management.
