Did the job. Convenient for where we wanted to be. Clean towels and bedding. Breakfast good. Very friendly staff. Carpets tatty and plug holes could do with a bit of bleach but apart from these picky points overall hotel was good value. But quite dated. Suited our needs.

Very old hotel. Chipped decor. My room was musty, carpets and tv remote were dirty. Hair in the shower (not mine) - tried to shower by touching as little of the shower curtain as possible! Very uncomfortable feeling. The bed had an 'off' smell. Won't be staying here again I expected way more from a hotel so close to the airport.

DO NOT STAY HERE, IT’S UNSAFE!!!! We watched the thieves mid-theft robbing our tools from our van after robbing the van next to us too. We have them on video. 3 men with distinctive logos on their hats and jackets. They had clearly been tipped off by a staff member. There were other incognito vans which had been left alone but the sign written ones were broken into with thousands of pounds worth of tools stolen. After talking to other contractors that have stayed in this hotel, they have had their vans broken into and tools robbed from them too. Even the reviews on trip advisor highlight the robberies. The police told us that they had been called to robberies at the hotel 8 times in the last two weeks. Staff don’t care, CCTV is not shared which highlights our suspicions of an insider tipping off the thieves. We even had to pay for the car park after being robbed.

Started badly when I pulled up outside the hotel to see two guys doing serious *****. (This was repeated on two other occasions when arriving/leaving.) Wasn’t driving myself but would not have wanted to leave a car there. My room (225 - see a previous review) was freezing (window wide open on arrival in January) and I could only get heater/AC to pump out cold air. I’d booked a double and it was a twin. I asked to move and the staff member was helpful and did so. Next room was better and warmer but the heating was still broken (thermostat was smashed/cracked). Toilet bowl stained. Desk lamp didn’t work. Went to the former Beefeater for dinner, now only serving hotel guests. There followed the most surreal experience: near nervous breakdowns from staff, lots of waiting from all in restaurant, a ‘rare’ steak which was actually grey cardboard and the chef who collected my plate congratulating me on actually finishing (I was starving.) Two stars as the staff were friendly and helpful and doing their best in difficult circumstances. Breakfast was good too, but PI really need to put some work into this one.

We had the worst experience ever. No chef was was available when we first enetered the restaurant. Jagdeep was excellent but there was a two hour wait for food. Half of the tables food sat under a heatlamp for 20 minutes When the food finally turned up the chicken was pink.

. We checked in too be told there is a £10 early check in fee, which we knew nothing about. 2. We were given room 225. When we got in the room was freezing. We put the AC unit on to heat the room. This was blowing out cold air. After 10 minutes and still cold air I asked a cleaner if she could help. She said she would let reception know. After another 15 minutes of cold air I went down to reception. The 2 ladies on there said "oh yes your room AC was on cool and we've just changed it". I told her it was still freezing. She replied " it will take a while to warm up". And I will see if I can find ...... She said a man's name, I presumed he was maintenance. After another 20 freezing minutes, my husband went to reception, and a maintenance came with him. He agreed the AC wasn't heating up!!!! And went away. After another 10 minutes I went back to reception to find out what was happening as we were due to meet family later that day, and needed to get showered and changed. There was a different lady on now as it was getting later. She asked if the room was warming up!!! No it's still the same FREEZING. She then proceeded to change our room, and said she couldn't understand why they hadn't done this sooner. The room we was given was small dirty and well in need of refurbishment. By this time we were tired annoyed and frankly quite put off by your hotel. I can safely say we won't be using your hotel again, and wished I'd of paid the extra £20 to stay at the Red Lion hotel.

Excellent service all round. Good location. Amit provided good services and this is my 3rd visit and his gone above and beyond 5 star service. Good location for staying in London and easier to get to city on Elizabeth line. Getting to Heathrow all terminals is a breeze and saves a lot of time . Bus or Underground both available close bye.
