Tom Dooley’s Hideout is located at the Gateway to the hill country, just minutes west of Dripping Springs off of hwy 290. It’s a unique 4 acre property with 5 modern tiny houses that sit on open range with free grazing livestock which occasionally show up as they do not belong to us. This tiny house comfortably sleeps 2 on a queen bed but we do have a sofa/futon that's great for kids. Enjoy sitting on the porch or at the picnic table under the trees to kick back and relax on a cool evening. We do allow pet guests but want to note that there is a $40 fee PER pet PER night so please be sure and include them on your reservation.About pets:Pets allowed: less than 50 lbs per pet (limit 2 pets total).About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About checkIn:Check in after 4:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 25.About events:Events allowed: family gatherings, birthday parties, weddings.Maximum event attendees: 20.

Beautiful retreat far away
The place was all we needed and it was a beautiful place. Very removed which made going places inconvenient and too far out of the way for any Uber/Lyft to get there. That said the place is a great retreat and quiet

Short visit
This little house was just perfect for a quick visit with family. The bathroom was roomy and the bed comfy. We weren’t planning to cook meals, so not have a cooktop was no problem. Roaming cattle was interesting but remember that they are not pets. We hope to book this again.
PS The owner was quick to answer questions.
