Booked into the nearest Premier Inn for work purposes the following day and after a long day at work, it was so nice to walk into a brightly lit area, be greeted and for once in my life, a seamless check in experience using the self service / automated system. Getting my access card was simple and then I travelled up the lift to my floor. My access card worked for access to my floor and then worked again when entering my room - didn't have to run back downstairs to get it renewed!! My room was welcoming and I literally had a coffee and went to bed - as an early start beckoned. The room was clean & tidy as was the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable as it didn't take long for me to drift off. The only little thing I would say is that it was too warm but better than being cold I guess! Waking up in the morning, a long hot shower was enjoyed before attending breakfast. Unlike some locations, breakfast is served here from 0630 hours so helping myself to a coffee before sitting down, I enjoyed the cooked breakfast selection along with the fruit, bread & pastries!! Checking out was even easier, said thanks and goodbye whilst dropping my access card into the nominated box! Job done! Thank you to all at Haywards Heath, I was more than ready to face another day!

I stayed here with my wife and 2 little girls on a Friday and Saturday night. We used it as a base for visiting Brighton. It’s a very convenient hotel for this as the train station is a very short walk and Brighton is about a 20min journey. The tickets were pretty reasonably priced as well. About £20 return for the family. Anyway… back to the hotel! This is a modern Premier Inn which has been open a while now but seems to be well maintained and cleaned. The room was a standard Premier Inn affair. It had everything we needed and was big enough for the 4 of us. Having a bath was good and was great for relaxing after lots of walking! The breakfast is great for the price. We really can’t complain. Again, standard Premier Inn breakfast. On the first morning it was quiet in the restaurant but despite two people working, plates weren’t being collected and the buffet wasn’t getting topped up all that well. On the second day there was only one person working but he was all over it. Everything topped up and plates collected/tables sorted for the next customers. Having stayed here before we knew that parking can be in short supply, but on this occasion we were fine. Make sure you get the reduced price using the code provided by the hotel. Also, get a receipt or photo proving payment on the car machine… last time we stayed here I got a ticket even though I had paid (which I got out of eventually!) The staff were all really polite and friendly.

The Premier team accommodated our family wedding reception with great patience, in the restaurant. They were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much for them to do to make the day a wonderful experience.

Stayed on 3 occasions - 6 days and 2 single nights. An excellent location, 200m from railway station on a mainline to London (Victoria station) taking about 50 mins and trains every 20-30 mins. A 5 min walk to supermarket; 10 min walk to shops. Rooms spacious, quiet, clean, well equipped. Very comfy bed and good bathroom. Staff are outstanding! Friendly, helpful, efficient, with a real guest focus. Dining facilities and full bar service are all very good quality and top value. This hotel punches way above its 3.5 * rating. It is highly recommended.

My experience of this hotel was not as good as I was expecting. To start with the pluses... * A very good night sleep was achieved *The place was very clean throughout *The staff were all friendly and helpful The minuses... * Ran the hot water tap in the bathroom basin for several minutes before warm water flowed. This was around 07.35 hrs. * The pressure in the shower was abysmal. When I removed the shower head from it's holder it ceased altogether depending on how it was held. * A first floor room, facing a busy road with double decker buses going by only offers heavy curtains to screen you. Not ideal. * I wanted breakfast as soon as it opened at 07.00 hrs but although the guy did his best in the kitchen there was apparently a fault with one oven. I thought that, at over £100 including breakfast it was a little dear for what it was. Staff responded to my feedback at check-out with interest, making notes. So that was good.

Disappointed this time, first time I’d needed a car park close by due to my mobility even though this place is near railway station and it be the last time staying here when driving, not a place to park your vehicle as can cost a packet. I’ll use Travelodge next time. Room was clean & spacious but bathtub is too small. Breakfast was good value.

Lovely hotel, great location next to Haywards Heath station. Bathroom needs a bit of cleaning attention to detail, otherwise a good place to stay. Also ideal for Gatwick airport. This Premier inn has one of their small restaurants and bars attached.
