We stayed at BVM for four nights in October 2024, while visiting wine country. We normally stay at hotels, but decided to give BVM a try as it was in theme with our preferred wineries: family owned and operated. BVM was amazing, and we both commented on how we wished we had found it long ago. Jerry, the proprietor, is an excellent host with many great recommendations for a range of activities, from local food and wineries to antiquing to hiking, and everything in between. We stayed in the Asti room, which was spacious, clean, and well maintained, and has a private balcony with an amazing mountain view to the north. The property is perfectly situated, offering quick, convenient access to main travel routes and local businesses, but is nicely tucked away to offer a sense of privacy and tranquility. BVM sits elevated, offering amazing views of the surrounding mountains and valleys from the spacious outdoor living area, where Jerry hosts his daily cocktail hour. Breakfast was great, each day featuring Jerry’s unique and delicious take on traditional American breakfast fare, served in the main dining room of this beautiful estate, with panoramic windows overlooking the stunning scenery in all directions. Coupled with the amazing location and wonderful amenities of this beautiful estate, assistant inn keepers Rosalie and Maria make BVM a hidden gem and the perfect spot for a relaxing Sonoma getaway. We highly recommend!
