The reception was very friendly. The location is about a 20-minute walk from the tourist area, but it is close to the central station where trains to Frankfurt and other areas stop, so it was easy to move around with a suitcase. You order amenities yourself from your smartphone, but it took an hour to get one pair of slippers. Also, the staff other than the reception staff were not very good. There was an a la carte menu in addition to the buffet for breakfast, but it never came (I ended up not eating it).
The very high level of personal service at the Europaeischer Hof Heidelberg could not be any better. It's very consistent and makes any trip to Heidelberg more relaxing and fun. My first choice for any overnight stay in Heidelberg and I can highly recommend it. Looking forward to my next stay there - CVID permitting - hopefully soon.

The hotel is right next to Heidelberg University and parking is very convenient.
Breakfast is simple, but it feels good
I opened the window in the room where I could see the church, and I was woken up by the bell of the church's holy gods early in the morning
Facilities: Facilities are very good, breakfast is on the second floor
Hygiene: This is not good evaluation. Very good, except for a small bug crawling on my hand, maybe because I live near the road and the beach and the floor is low.
Environment: very good Although small, beautiful scenery and unique location
Service: The front desk is very, very cute
Service is in place, every time you go to live! Convenient transportation, reasonable room facilities, convenient use! Hygiene and cleanliness are very suitable for guests and can be thoughtful.
The room is high, clean and quiet. 8 minutes walk to the downtown square and three bus stops to the famous historical old town. The traffic is extremely convenient and can be described as quiet. very satisfied. For environmental awareness, the room is cleaned once in two days; There is no one at the front desk after 8 pm, and you need to enter and exit with the side door of the room card. It is understandable, but some are inconvenient.
On the Neckar River, not far from the old bridge, the view is first class, the room is large, very beautiful, breakfast is in the basement, more abundant. There is no parking space, only the 8th parking lot on the main street, or the 12th parking lot of the food plaza. It is about 10 minutes to go to the hotel. The 8th parking lot stops for 17 nights, slightly expensive. It is said that 12 parking lots are cheap. In addition, the extra bed plus the early fee is more expensive. Heidelberg is very beautiful and worth a visit.
Dener hotel was very good. You can walk around. The tram and buses are leaving near the hotel. The river is very close. You find yourself on the streets where you have historic houses.
There is no lift. There is a very nice seat in the room. I wish it had a chair. No sac dryer. The room is clean and comfortable. We were very happy. We will try to come back.

HHelen RenTo be honest ,I have to say that I will back it again! That’s the best one hostel in my trip experience until now. The staff and I think who is owner of the hostel so so so nice 👍.She prepared everything for you and you will just like at home. Free oat for everyone and I was impressed by the cozy decorations. The location is good for visiting any sightseeings and nearby the station of telpher.That is a awesome hostel and I will book it again to enjoy Heidelberg castle 🏰.
FFrank Sch.Unfortunately, the bathroom in the first room smelled of urine after showering. The smell probably came from the drain. The room was immediately swapped by reception without discussion. Otherwise, I was extremely satisfied! Thanks to our membership in the H Rewards Club, we received a day ticket for public transport in Heidelberg every day!
HHHannaLuggage storage before check-in worked great and very courteous gentleman at the reception area. Telephone availability previously generated band, very ugly. Check-in itself was unfortunately rather sobering due to the change in staff. Also, immediately after check-in, a pushy bartender who wanted to mix cocktails for me. Unfortunately, that didn't go away when I went out to smoke and had to go through the ”lobby”. Hotel room unfortunately the stockiest of all, despite the most expensive costs on my trip. Huge TV, nice bed, great duvet, air conditioning, design equipment... but unfortunately completely impractical, so that there was not only space to unpack my suitcase and cosmetics in the bathroom. No, unfortunately the desk was so close to the bed that there were bruises when walking around. Big plus seen too late though. Kettle with instant coffee, milk and sugar/tea was available in the room.
MMoshengren1967The hotel is in a great location! Right by the river. You can drink coffee and enjoy the scenery while sitting in the room. The room is also large, clean and well-equipped. It is the most well-equipped hotel I have ever stayed in a foreign country. There is no other hotel with small items such as soap and body lotion. The hotel also has a swimming pool. Due to the low temperature, I gave up exercising. The breakfast seems to be the same as other hotels. It is simple and there is no problem eating enough. The location is not far from Heidelberg Central Station and is convenient for travel.
GGuest UserStrategic location right in the heart of the town. Did not get breakfast but there is a supermart within walking distance and managed to get some sundries. Railway station just beside the hotel but was not noisy. Room sound proofing is very effective. A Burger King restaurant attached to the railway station. Room and bed are comfortable. Good ambience. Parking garage is shared with Intercity Hotel and does get a bit confusing because there designated zones. Spaces are limited. So, good luck with finding a spot.
SSyarifah NurulWe booked this hotel last minute to visit Heidelberg, we are in shock when we go to the room because the room are well prepared & its cold! have aircond in it! We love all things in the room. all well. room with balcony, aircond, smart home functions, big flat tv with nexflix, coffee machine, kitchen & utensils. its complete like a studio house. The receptionist also so friendly. there is mistakes from Trip.Com state check out time at 12 but actually is at 11. then we not ready because we think the time was at 12. then they came & gave us time to check out. all so good for sure we will come again to this hotel.
GGuest UserThe transportation is very convenient, there is a separate parking space, and the fee is not high. The room is very exquisite, although it is small but fully equipped. Although it is very close to the station, the glass sound insulation is excellent, and it is a bit noisy when the window is opened.
韦韦Maintenance is underway near the railway station. In the past, the hotel had to cross a small bridge;
The room is more spacious. Compared with the hotels in Frankfurt, the heating in the room is sufficient. The front desk of the hotel has bread and coffee every day, which can be taken for free. The croissants are delicious;
The hotel breakfast is 10EUR/person, which is not suitable for the Chinese stomach and the variety is barren; there is a dining cart on the road in front of the hotel, and the roasted chicken legs are not bad, 2 euros apiece.
Overall recommendation.
MMAll in all, not a terrible stay. When we first got there to check in the front desk was closed even though it was 5pm and check in was until 10, and the automatic check in machine was broken with a note on it to pick up our room keys at the hotel across the street. We went there and they had no idea what we were talking about so we had to carry our luggage back across the street after contacting trip.com who replied IMMEDIATELY (thank you guys so much your customer service is incredible!) we got the number to call the hotel after hours and it turns out they forgot to leave our keys so they sent someone back over to let us into our room. We got into our room and it wasn’t the room we booked, it was a room in the attic that on one side I couldn’t even stand up without hitting my head (I’m 5”3) but it had AC and it was a place to rest our heads so it could wait until morning. The next day when we came down we mentioned the room error and the look the first guy gave me was full of contempt, so his customer service was awful. I know I don’t look like a conventional woman with my hair and tattoos and I understand different cultures can collide but that’s fine, though when the manager came to talk to my fiancé his attitude perked up a bit and he found a smile. They got us in the correct room and this room was a normal size but the ac unit for that room is a portable roll about one that the hose wasn’t sticking out the window with the netting correctly and they tried to come fix it (duct tape) but then the hose broke but my fiancé found a way to shove it out the window and it took awhile to get the room cooled down but then it was great. After that the rest of the trip went well, the woman with the copper/red hair was super nice and overall we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was a really good breakfast and the hotel is in a great location with secure parking. Check out Lino’s around the corner for fantastic drinks and the döner place downstairs is killer.
It’s most important that most Germans don’t approve of AC so keep that in mind if that’s important to you that you double verify where you book. All the trouble aside we would definitely stay here again, just don’t count on the blow dryer in the room or the AC to work and room service may need to be requested multiple times.
RRebelheartLocation: across the street, ~5 mins from the hbf.
Reception: allowed early check in; they don’t always have someone at the counter so just give them a call and they will open the door for you (met some other guests, really nice people who helped me make the call!)
Lift: old and small but it works!
Room: double bed = 2 single bed merge together. had some flies initially because they left the window open to air it, service staff helped to get the flies out.
Toilet: small but manageable if you are petite, may not be suitable for big size people as the bathing area is small.
Transport: took RNV20 to and fro to the furnicular (which led to other tourist areas), super convenient!
