Impressive hotel but quiet.. Area around hotel dead. Not many shops open for dinner at around 7:30pm.
So had to take a taxi ¥18 to Hekou town.
Funny that construction activities still allowed at 11pm, could hear lorries and excavators in motion..
Breakfast, starts at 7am, was nice but no coffee or tea available. We could not enjoy much coz our taxi came acalling at 7:26am to take us to Hekou North train station.

The room is clean, hygienic and comfortable. The surrounding environment is also very quiet. The hotel service is very good. Friends traveling with me said that this is probably the most upscale high-end hotel in Hekou. It clearly embodies the Chinese style on the Sino-Vietnamese border. They call it a declaration of sovereignty, hahaha. The room was clean and hygienic, without any dampness and very comfortable. The reception service at the front desk is good and there are many breakfast options. I will stay here when I come to Hekou in the future!
