in advance: we have tried to contact Europarcs several times about the following, after 5 weeks of no response we will write to them. House not clean (extremely dirty floor, bedside tables and surfaces not clean) Kitchen not clean (dirty things in the cupboards) and a hodgepodge of contents, 5 different types of plates, 3 different types of cutlery, a combination microwave where the kettle and coffee maker had to be on top (too little space in the kitchen). Insufficient sockets to connect the 3 devices (so we had to keep changing plugs). Also, things like scissors and matches were missing. Bathroom stank: a sewer smell came up through the shower drain, this was reported. Someone came by who (we heard afterwards) thought it was not that bad and left again. In case of a complaint they would ask an external company. I don't know if this happened. No bread service but we could bake bread rolls. Unfortunately; the combination microwave doesn't work. We get another one, this one has no oven function only a grill, that is of no use. I had to call about this 3 times and go to the reception to make this clear. No double bottom sheet was supplied with the double bed, (the beds were also not made due to lack of staff). Parasol was only supplied after asking twice, despite having been booked. Towel set (8 euros pp for only one large and one small towel!) was only replaced free of charge halfway through our stay after we insisted. We find it scandalous that we actually had to pay extra for this and we are not used to it anywhere else. Living room with sagging furniture where we can't really sit properly. The whole house feels more like a student flat than a holiday home. Again; for 250 euros per night we find this really substandard. The fact that a night's sleep is apparently not sacred also bothered us. People are already driving around the site with cars at 5/5:30 (company cars of people who have to work in the area?). If you have the bedroom on the street side, you are awake early and upset all day. We are very disappointed with the price / quality ratio of the accommodation and the park as a whole. Once again a compliment to the ladies at the reception who have always tried to come up with solutions. That does not alter the fact that in our eyes the multitude of defects should not have occurred in principle. On the first evening we received a 'welcome email' from the park manager. We responded to this directly with much of the above. The fact that we have not received any response to this to this day also particularly disappoints us. The evaluation after returning home and the email from a week later are still unanswered.
