Business Hotels in Helsinki

Prime location in the city centre. However, the amenities are worse than other hotels I’ve stayed in Helsinki and come at a cost (ie. Sauna and gym) when other hotels offer them for free. Breakfast is OK but I’d suggest skipping and buying something nice from the various options nearby in the area. Asked for late checkout and was told it would cost 10eur per our, which is ridiculous considering other hotels usually offer a few hours up to a certain point for free. Good hotel for its location but quite pricey and you don’t get too much out of it.

We travelled as a family in August 2022. We had already book a Junior Suite and my top tier of IHG Status was not really recognised except for the breakfast. There was no room upgrade offered nor were there any extra amenities for the room or even a welcome letter. We did have access to The Club Lounge which had limited breakfast choices and then a decent evening buffet between 6pm and 8pm. The lounge was rarely staffed and the door was left open so I am unsure if all those in the lounge enjoying the beer and wine had full entitlement. It would have been nice if the desk in the lounge had been manned at certain times. The staff we met were all most friendly. The breakfast on the ground floor could not be faulted. Service was polite and most efficient. Cooked eggs were available on request. Vegans had a wide choice and this part of the hotel ran well. The hotel boasted the IHG Clean Promise. There were areas that needed attention. When I advised staff that the lifts were dirty and used glasses were in corridors this was attended to promptly. Moving forward the hotel needs to promote itself better. There are empty poster display cabinets everywhere. They could be used to promote the health club, restaurants and room service. If visiting the Hotel we recommend the restaurant Kuu which is opposite the side entrance of the Hotel. Booking is advised.

The minute we entered the hotel, we were warmly greeted at the reception desk by Samuel, who efficiently checked us. He then kindly offered information about the hotel amenities and directions to Executive Lounge, the sauna, and where breakfast would be served. We enjoyed the delicious meals and relaxing sauna very much. My left leg started to hurt later and the next morning my husband and I decided it was time to get medical care. Again, it was Samuel to the rescue. He got us an appointment with a orthopedic specialist who spoke English for an hour and a half later! Samuel then got us a taxi and soon we were at the clinic. The Mehilainen Form Clinic (a medical provider with BCBS Global) provided exceptional service, and was super clean. After an exam by the orthopedic specialist, Dr. Tuomas, then a sonogram of the leg by Dr. Juhani, the condition was diagnosed and Rx ordered from a nearby pharmacy. Upon our return to the hotel, Samuel continued to show concern by offering a wheelchair and getting us a cab to the airport in a snowstorm. The hotel is not in the city center but it takes more than 20 minutes by bus, opposite is the forest. The room is on the first floor, the windows can be locked, there is no kettle, it may be borrowed at the front desk, the room is not large, the water heater may not be the conventional method of opening and closing, so I do n’t know if the phone came in at night and asked if I knew the front desk number Is n’t that because they do n’t use this water heater ... Breakfast is good and the sun is plentiful.

This place hands down is an absolutely unique experience on its own, to voluntarily stay in a prison haha. The staff was extremely personable, knowledgeable and helpful with any requests we had. We were staying there to celebrate New Year's Eve and they recommend it lots of great places to go. The hotel/ prison itself was amazing just to be in. The restaurant downstairs had exceptional food for dinner and breakfast. Will definitely stay longer on our next vacation. The hotel is within walking distance to the center of the city as well as the Capitol building. The location is perfect if you want to celebrate New Year's Eve festivities which are held in the plaza outside of the Capitol building. Unforgettable time!

Scandic Pasila was a great place - good price, beautiful rooms, fabulous breakfast, super service and close to modes of transportation. It's about a 12 minute walk from the Tripla Mall which is a railway stop. We could catch trains easily to the waterfront area where we caught trams to other parts of the city. The system is easy and convenient. There is even a tram stop right outside the hotel and we used that line several times. Our room had twin beds that pushed together to make a king-size bed. We had plenty of floor and storage space, a small fridge, desk, closet and nice, roomy bathroom. The windows had room darkening shades that helped with outside light at night. The nicest feature was that the floor of the bathroom was HEATED as well as the several-layer towel racks! It was nice to not feel cold on your feet in the bathroom and it was easy to rinse clothing items out and dry them on the towel racks - very nice! The hotel is big and well maintained. The staff helped with every question or need we had. We never encountered anyone unwilling too help us. The breakfast area is huge but can get congested if there is a conference in town or the hotel is full. You can take food to your room but we found space every day in the dining room. The food was plentiful and varied: meats, cheeses, vegetables, fruits, yogurt, granola, cereals, breads, rolls, jams, muffins, breakfast casseroles, eggs, desserts, candy, hot and cold drinks. We will definitely stay there again and we will suggest it to friends traveling to Helsinki.

The scenery of the hotel is superb, even if we stayed in winter, the beauty of the lake cannot be concealed. The service of the hotel is also very good, and the free apples are very delicious. The hotel lobby has a typical Nordic style, warm and practical. It is very pleasant to take a walk by the lake and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Absolutey best hotel near Helsinki airport..so lovely service.clean..super breakfast but best was lovely, friendly, professional workers..special thank for reception people who took me serioursly and when I did panic of leaving my visa card there and my daughter left her ring..and we got ring back by post and I did find my card from my bag..because reception person said to me to take a one more look😍but still took me very seriously and said he would look for it and ask everyone and will keep me contact.
