We arrived late afternoon and instructions for check in were as per our email. We had a top floor room and it was clean and tidy with nice bedding and towels provided. Beds were really comfortable. Parking on the street outside is free from 1800-0900 so unless you are leaving late not a problem. We parked on a street a little distance away but that was our choice. Breakfast was exceptional and we were spoilt for choice with a great cooked to order breakfast and range of cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit and juices. Becky was really attentive and we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back.

On the good side: great breakfast, host was really helpful, good size room, comfy bed, plenty of hot water for shower, great location. On the down side; check-in was ridiculously complicated (we arrived late at night when it was dark too), nearest carpark was a 15 minute walk away and up a large number of steps in the dark. This carpark issue needs to be stated on their advertising site. Anyone not in top fitness would struggle, especially with cases. On entry to the building there were no lights on in the hallway and the room numbering was confusing!!!! The room and decor were very outdated with holes in carpet and macerator in bathroom was really noisy

Lovely little B&B. Immaculate rooms & the room we were in had a much larger than average bathroom for a B&B. Breakfast was great. The only issue we had was with parking. It is very limited & not something the owners can change. This would not stop us returning but would be problematic for anyone who struggles walking up hills.

A perfectly decent room which unfortunately overlooked the next door pub's music room, so the considerable noise of people drinking continued until past midnight. There was also a VERY bright green light in the room, possibly from some kind of alarm, and this was very distracting. However, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast really quite lavish: fruit juices, several kinds of tea, coffee, croissants, several types of bread, waffles, fruit and more. The pub next door is FANTASTIC, friendly and helpful.

Heel vriendelijke mevrouw die dit runt. Door pech met de auto konden wij niet op de reserverings dag arriveren. (Wij waren aan het rondtrekken door Zuid-Engeland met 3 personen) Door contact met haar te hebben hierover, was ze heel meewerkend en begripvol, waardoor we het geluk hadden dat de kamers voor de volgende vrij waren. (we hadden 2 kamers geboekt voor 1 nacht) En de reservering werd gratis verzet. Bij aankomst haal je de sleutel op bij de naast gelegen pub. (Ook krijg je op een briefje uitleg waar je de auto kan parkeren in de buurt) Dan ben je ook blij verrast dat alles er ook heel netjes en verzorgd uit ziet. Ruime gezellige kamer en badkamer dat er ook schoon uitziet. Goed groot bed. Het lampje boven de deur geeft wel veel licht, maar dat is voor de (brand) veiligheid . Alleen hoorde ik wel tot laat mensen praten onder ons raam buiten, maar daar kan zij ook niks aan doen. smorgens was de eigenaresse wel zelf aanwezig om voor het ontbijt te zorgen. Ook dit verzorgde ze heel netjes. Ze maakte op bestelling lekkere Engelse gerechten en verder mocht je alles zelf pakken. We hebben haar dan ook heel vriendelijk bedankt voor de zeer goede service
