Beautiful birthday weekend away staying in Saltus 3. Apartment was beautifully designed and appointed. Bathroom gives day spa vibes, kitchen fully functional, bed super comfy and lovely views over toward the hot springs. Perfectly located in Hepburn SPrings - abundance of finding and food options within walking distance (pick up groceries in Daylesford beforehand though if needed - Hepburn General Store is limited). Walk l to the Hepburn BathHouse. Nature trails easily accessed. Excellent location, excellent accommodation.

We booked to stay at Saltus back in March 2022, and were looking forward to our stay. We did not receive the email with the villa access information, and despite writing to Saltus two days before arrival we did not hear anything. We arrived in Hepburn Springs at the time of check-in, but still had not heard back. We called the number and left at least 4 messages, but no-one called us back, we tried emailing again, yet no answer. We had no choice but to seek alternate accommodation at the very last minute. When Saltus did finally contact us, the representative was apologetic and said that our booking had ‘slipped under the radar and had been forgotten about’, despite me having emailed on Saturday requesting the villa access information and the messages left on the phone number remaining unanswered. While I appreciate that we will be fully refunded and we await the funds to be returned to our account, the lack of communication by Saltus was disheartening to say the least. We stayed at Saltus quite a few times before the business changed hands, and it’s clear that priorities have changed and it’s no longer the luxury experience it once was.

The accomodation and experience was spectacular. It was presented very clean, tidy and professional and was very easy to find and access. The location is superb, and the downstairs rooms boast stunning views of the nature outside. It’s the perfect escape. The bathtubs were spacious and high quality, and the variety meant there was multiple ways to relax, right there at the accommodation. The spa jet was relaxing, and the giant stone bath was soothing and calming. There is plenty of activities and adventures located near the accommodation. The main ***** is just up the road, and there are plenty of bath houses nearby.

Was not able to use spa as the plug was faulty, shower door wouldn't close properly so water over the floor and shower floor hasn'd been cleaned properly, blind broken. No answer to email sent and contact number just rung out no answer and couldn't leave a message. Don't stay here. It appears they are trying to sell the business and haven't kept up maintenance and lost interest
