We have had a fantastic stay at the Potting Shed. The hosts are brilliant and so welcoming. A cold ice tea on arrival and selecting breakfast the day before just makes everything so much more welcoming! The room was spotless and one of the most comfortable beds ever! Conveniently located for everything in Hermanus.

The entire facility is well kept, the staff and owners are very polite and welcoming. We had a one night stay and woke up to breakfast which was included in the rate. I enjoyed my stay and slept well ! I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Hermanus.

Lovely guesthouse in Hermanus. Given the spacious and comfortable room, delicious breakfast, free parking and warm welcome from the owners - it is hard to fault. The room even had a patio area with a BBQ (which we didn’t use). Great value for money.

I arrived midweek after a 12 hour flight, I was graciously welcomed and offered a tea as my room was just being cleaned, the host Dave kindly moved my case to the room as I was enjoying my tea by the pool. My room was a good size, a calming beige used throughout the place, big walking shower in the en-suite bathroom, a powerful ceiling fan cooled the place down, and the bed was comfy all night. Breakfast was top quality, with a fresh fruit salad, bacon & scrambled eggs, a good presse coffee, mango juice, toast, local jams. The hosts were there to engage and help out too

We returned to the Potting Shed after a previous stay - sadly only 1 night but we will return. Everything about the property is great . It’s friendly, very clean with a lovely welcome. Rooms are comfortable & the breakfast especially the pancakes are scrummy !!

Me and my wife had the best experience here. We visited the beautiful Hermanus coastak town, booked in for 2 nights at The Potting Shed and had an amazing time. The room was spacious, the bed quality was amazing, the finishes and efforts that went into this place was absolutely felt in a very good way. The breakfast was absolutely divine . Prepared by the owners themselves (Im sure they are secret Master Chefs). Our number one stop for Hermanus visits in the future. Will definitely be back. Thank you The Potting Shed. !

Great find at the end of a busy day. Super friendly hosts, large room with lovely decor and a wonderful shower. Secure parking on site. Quality breakfast!! Easy walk into town. Can confidently recommended and would revisit on future travels.

The potting shed is a lovely guesthouse in walking distance to the center of hermanus. the hosts are wonderful! super friendly and helpful :-) the breakfast (especially the homemade pancakes) is amazing! It was a perfect choice for a stop on the garden route and we would definitely recommend it :-)
