We enjoyed the week in Hermanus and felt warmly welcomed in the guesthouse. Nice place, excellent breakfast, city centre and cliff path within walking distance. Very enjoyable.

The owners Nikki and Stefan gave us a warm welcome with lots of good advices for restaurants and activities. They and their stuff were very helpfull. Penguino Lodge is in walking distance to the town cntre and it is a save walk. Every morning Stefan prepared an extraordinary, delicious breakfast. We enjoyed the clean and warmed up swimmingpool. We definitely we want to return to the lodge.

Although it rained heavily for most of our one day at Penguino, we enjoyed our stay there. I have never had a breakfast that was served like a evening meal, imaginative menu and service with a flourish. The proparietors were communicative and seemed to enjoy speaking to the guests.
