Loved staying at Penguino, which is a family run guesthouse only 15 mins easy walk from the town and restaurants. Nikki and Stefan were great hosts. Loved all the extra thoughtful touches like fresh flowers in our room, candles etc plus beach paraphernalia outside to borrow (towels, beach chairs etc). Breakfasts were delicious, cooked to order by Stefan, who is a very entertaining host and much fun. We loved all his anecdotes! Highly recommend Penguino and would love to visit again. Thank you ☺️

I had an amazing stay, Stefan & Nikki were wonderful hosts, so warm and welcoming. Breakfast was a delight and the chats with Stefan equally lovely. Penguino is very cosy and welcoming with the best breakfast and lots of coffee. They even catered to my Gluten Free needs and this is always appreciated. Thank you

Fantastic guesthouse in Hermanus. Nikki is a great host, very helpful with recommendations and advice. The rooms are lovely and comfortable with everything you need. Hermanus town centre is just a short walk along the cliff path so would 100% recommend Penguino for stays in this area. Breakfast also excellent with many options and home cooked, fresh food.

A gem of a guest house that has managed to mix the warm friendly feel of small family run accommodation, with beautifully decorated and designed rooms that feel like a city hotel. The room was large with a comfortable bed it had everything you needed. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful. Freshly cooked to order well presented and quality ingredients we were spoiled for choice. We were given plenty of recommendations for restaurants and bars Great location for getting onto the coastal path. 5-10 minute walk into the centre We did not use the pool as it was not warm enough. But there were towels and even yoga mats if you needed a stretch !
