The hotel is quite good. Except for the lack of sea view, everything else is fine. The rooms are large, the private bathing area is spacious, and the food is of a very high standard. There was a little incident. The hotel gave us a room with an old air conditioner, and the temperature could not be lowered. The hotel staff responded positively, but the solution was slow. I booked a room with one bed, two meals and an open-air bath (think it is semi-open-air?). The room is a traditional tatami room with two beds. The room is very large and comfortable. The meals are semi-buffet style dinner (including hot pot, salt-baked abalone) and buffet style breakfast (including Japanese and Western options, but mainly Japanese style, grilled fish, pickles).
By the way, there was a little incident. I originally booked a room without meals and a bath on another website. After booking the current combination here, I canceled the reservation there. However, when we arrived, we were initially assigned a room type without a bath. This is the first time I'm so grateful to have a hotel staff who can speak Chinese, because the other front desk staff are older and don't speak English at all. After several communications, I was able to switch to the room type I expected and got a very satisfying and comfortable accommodation experience.
Since the room type comes with a bath, I did not have the chance to use the Kori-kiri bath in the villa, and I could use the large bath in the main building. Unable to share the experience.
Another thing to note is that I rented a car and drove there. This villa is across the street from the main hotel of Shihuahai, but it is not very noticeable. If you can’t see it by driving, you can see the welcome in front of Shihuahai. The staff can explain it to him.
