Super Hotel Yamagata Sakurambo-Higashine Station Front

The room is small. It feels like there is a hot spring in a business hotel. The hot spring is not wide. Feeling full of a few people. (Girls' Bath) Breakfast was a buffet, there were many side dishes, and the local tamabori and Imoni were really delicious. There are plenty of drinks such as bread, rice, coffee and juice. The room key is a PIN system, and only the entrance is accepted at the front desk. Girls will be given a PIN at the entrance of the hot spring. You can also check out without any procedure. It is a distance that can be reached on foot from the station.

I went to Yamagata Prefecture on a business trip to live in this store. The price is cheap, the room is small, the facilities are OK, the breakfast is great, especially the rice is very fragrant, the transportation is convenient. Cherry Donggen stands out and walks for 5 minutes. The room has a window.

It is an old good inn with a fragrance of Showa. The facilities are quite old, but the cleaning was well done. The bath is a hot spring with a lot of washing places. Because there were few other guests, I put it slowly in the rental state. It seems that the temperature of the source is high, so it is watered, but the temperature of the hot water is still hot. It may be better to divide it several times in a short time than to have a long hot water. The meal was the most easy plan, but the dinner breakfast was also sufficient quality and quantity. It was a pity that there were few customers due to the influence of corona, and there were few goods in the store. It would be better to buy sweets and snacks in advance. Then there was a big old black cat in the hall, and it seemed to be sleeping, but when it was up, it was ringing in a crowd.

This was my first time in Higashine and I felt very welcomed in the Ryokan. As a designer I appreciated the fact that it has a ”vintage” touch to it. It is old fashioned, but in a good way. But that might not be to everyones liking. The garden was beautiful and the Ryokan itself provides a peaceful atmosphere. It is in a perfect location to go to town by foot, restaurants close by. The manager was very kind and always joyful with a smile. The man at the front desk was helpful even though with minimal English knowledge. The onsen was very nice and my pain went ways within three days. The food was amazing with lots of variety. They also provided futons upon our arrival, because some of us had come from the airport. There was a bit of confusion the second day about the cleaning. It wasn't communicated well, we went out and when we came back, they came back to clean a second time (?) Hot water for tea was missing that morning. But really, in general is was a great experience. I will certainly come back.
