A panoramic view of Beppu Bay, the ocean spreading out in front of you. Facing is the night view of Oita City. A shallow sandy beach. You can see the sea from the open-air bath. All rooms have ocean views. It also makes you feel better. I never thought there was a place where you could experience a resort feeling like this just 20 minutes by car from Beppu! The breakfast was also delicious, with Oita's local cuisine Ryukyu, and the hot springs* had red yolks that were delicious when eaten in porridge. The staff at the front desk were also nice. I would like to visit again when I want to be healed.
This time I decided to stay at a slightly better hotel, so I used this one that opened last year and 4 people including 1 preschooler. I stayed in a triple room on the mountain side. I usually only stay in a room with a toilet and a bath immediately after entering, with two beds in the back, and a desk and a TV opposite (child talk). The two children were excited. There is a center partition on the road in front of the store, so the warehouse from the Beppu area will be a U-turn from where I went for a while. I checked in at 15:00, but I was distributing hell steaming and plum sake next to the front desk and had it immediately. It was delicious. Immediately after that, take a bath. The hotel itself seemed to be booming, but this time was still available. It is comfortable as a wide 々. The hot water temperature is also good. There is a draft beer server, a drink bar and ice cream where it goes up. This is only the night time zone. It feels like it's getting crowded, so it might be a good idea to enter early. Supper is a 90-minute two-part system. There are children, so it's early from 17:30. Because it is a half Viking, I bring steak and appetizers. I can't help but be worried about the food on the buffet table, but I think it's easier to consult with you if you're full if you touch the table service dish first. All-you-can-drink alcohol. I don't usually drink it, but because of poor development (laughs), I had a little apricot dew. If you are a drinker, it is heaven. There are many delicious dishes on the buffet table, so I was very satisfied. After the meal, go to the playroom with the child. Children were addicted to toys such as push pop, but there is a space where they can play in various ways. If you are traveling with children, you may come out once. By the way, there is no toilet on the 2nd floor, so this is quite troublesome. The room is new so it is large and clean. I think the view on the sea side is good, but that's a consultation with your wallet. I went to the bath from the morning the next day. It was around 6:30, but it was a reasonable entry. It seems that it is crowded if it is late. Breakfast starts at 7:30. The receptionist at check-in asks you the start time, but unlike dinner, it is not an hour system, so if you go at 8:30 or so, you will have a restriction on admission. The staff was also concerned about that area, and the table was about to be cleaned up when the bride & younger child was going to the toilet, and the older child and I were going to pick up dessert. There are some types of buffets that cannot be compared with eating at once in a mix of Japanese and Western styles. There are raw fish and some types of grilled fish are also served at the table. This was delicious. I mean, everything is delicious. Around the lobby on the 1st floor, there is a drink bar in the evening bathing space, and there is a coffee machine in the playroom, which is generous. There is also hell steaming, where you can enjoy plum wine or shochu, so even those who do not eat can enjoy it. Still, I think that eating can enjoy this place. Also, if you stay at peak time, you may be vacant and satisfied if you take early action (evening bath, morning bath, breakfast). I stayed with a lot of children. This time I stayed in combination with Harmony Land (if you go the next day, turn left and turn U). There are many rooms as it is, so it may not be suitable for those who want the quietness of adults. It may be good for a lively but OK group, a group that likes alcohol.

Last time I booked a Western-style room this time I booked a Japanese-style room. Also, the glass used is cloudy due to aging deterioration, so it's time to replace it with a stone! ?? I booked Chinese food this time and I was expecting it because the Japanese food was delicious last time, but unfortunately Chinese food was not so good. There was no. If the interval is too wide, you will feel full and your food will not progress. I will never use Chinese food 2 from the next time. Breakfast is rich and delicious. Bath The open-air bath is comfortable, but I want you to put a good shampoo in the men's bath! The correspondence of the hotel staff was very good as last time.
Such a quaint Japanese home. Hot spring bath was huge and can fit more than 1 person. Comes with a huge parking lot...however the street leading to the villa was very narrow. It was a huge challenge for us with a 7-seater MPV.
When I woke up in the morning, I suddenly had to stay in Beppu City, and when I browsed the travel site, it was Yutoriro Beppu here that I could stay on the day and was a good cost-effective inn. I arrived at the inn without much expectation because I made a reservation on the day, but the entrance has a Japanese-style taste based on wood. The interior of the building has just been renewed, so the overall design is clean and calm. Although the hot springs were a little hot at night, the first bath in the morning was warm and trot. It was a good spring to put in for a long time. There are many items for evening breakfast and it is quite delicious. If you change 3 cups of rice, you will be full. Contrary to expectations, it was a satisfactory stay.
I spent my first two hours doing what I haven’t done for almost three years, driving along the snaking roads in Japan. Arriving at Amane Seikai you feel euphoric, the seafood kaiseiki wasn’t the best, but the sake was good, and I was still giddy from seeing the spacious (1776 sq feet) junior suite with its own ocean view pool, jacuzzi, open-air onsen bath. “Room” 230 is in the new wing (according to my booking.com description), the apartment/room is not especially stylish, except for one little bottle of water and some coffee/tea, the mini bar and fridge were empty, but it has a spectacular view and you’ll still get your ocean view from bed and feel the constant gravitational pull of your private open-air onsen. I got up at 6ish just to catch the first rays of sunlight and to listen to the sound of the waves. Last but not least, the staff that checked me in was really nice and spoke perfect English ( coz he is from Nebraska ☺️)
I booked Amane Resort Gahama via orbitz in the very last minutes (the day of check-in) since there were no Airbnbs or other hotels available in the area for that day. My stay here with my family ended up being SO perfect & fantabulous:) As soon as I walked in the room, my inner voice says, “OMG I accidentally treated myself. This is like heaven!!” :) 1. Our room came with 2 onsen (hot spring) bath tubs. One is built in open air in the garden (roten buro), and the other is built inside (see the attached pictures). The two bath tabs are separated by the glass sliding doors. I truly enjoyed and appreciated the experience. I hopped in the bath as many times as I could to make my money worth!! They also have an open air bath (roten buro) with the beautiful view accessible to all guests. 2. Breakfast included was OMG SO deeelicious. It’s buffet style. They have traditional Japanese, Chinese, Western styled food. All guests were required to wear vinyl gloves whenever they would go get food. They have got this glove dispenser that would pump the air inside of the gloves so all we needed to do was to let our hands slide inside of gloves ( so we would not accidentally touch the next guest’s gloves underneath). I thought this was very generous and appreciated that they were trying hard to minimize contacts for covid prevention. 3. We also ate at the restaurant in the hotel. The staff, wait persons were all so nice. The food was excellent! Non alcoholic plum wine was delicious:) 4. All staffs in the hotel were super nice. We had a great stay thanks to them:)
