This was an outstanding hotel...stunning in its own right with incredible views of the ocean..rooms luxurious with sea view and outdoor shower room.. team were engaging and friendly throughout...nothing was a bother...dinner was of a high standard and we will definately come back ....🥰

What a fantastic stay! The hotel is beautiful, very well and tastefully decorated, the situation is the best right in front of the ocean and the staff are very nice and professional. We stayed for 5 nights and did not want to leave. Franziska keeps an eye on everything and she also gave us a great upgrade to a fabulous suite with its own garden. If you are looking for a comfortable luxurious stay in Hikkaduwa, don't look any further, this is the place to stay!

This boutique hotel is spectacular, I can’t recommend it enough. Location - perfect - literally right on the beach and with restaurants and bars and surf hire shops in both directions. The staff - are fantastic, so friendly and helpful whilst also being laid back - nothing is too much trouble. Franziska booked us cars and tuk tuks and decorated our room with the most beautiful hand written note for our honeymoon which was very special. The food - WOW. Hats off to the brilliant chefs, breakfast lunch and dinner were all delicious. Best meal we had in Sri Lanka. If you don’t stay here you must at least visit for dinner. The hotel - super clean and modern. It is a quieter hotel, which was perfect for us on a honeymoon and nice to come back to and relax after a busy day. As the rooms are LITERALLY metres away from the beach, if you’re a light sleeper than bring some ear buds as the waves are noisy but what a beautiful view and sound to wake up to every morning. Thank you to Franzieska, Suneka, Keke and the whole team for a magical start to our honeymoon. Xx

Стильный лофт отель, новый, находится на самом главном споте сёрфа, чувствуешь себя как в Дубае) потрясающий персонал заботливый, внимательный. В отеле 11 комнат, очень спокойно безопасно, сон прекрасный. Но только я не поняла почему такой везде тусклый свет, у меня была чёрная комната, я постоянно там теряла свои вещи 🤣 но это мелочь, там есть и другие цвета. Отель только для взрослых.

Wir waren für 4 Tage im DORMERO mit seinen 11 Zimmern bzw Suiten und fühlten uns von Anfang an sehr wohl. Alles ist sehr geschmackvoll arrangiert und auf einander abgestimmt. Das Früchstück in verschiedenen Varianten sehr schmackhaft und frisch. Einen sehr großen Anteil an dem rundum gelungenen Aufenthalt geht an Franziska und ihr Team. Sie hatte stets ein Lächeln und ein paar nette Worte für alle Gäste übrig. Der Hotelhund Kiki war leider nur bei den Mahlzeiten mein Freund. Keine Ahnung,warum😂 Liebe Franziska, Wir wünschen Dir und deinem Team alles Gute und macht weiter so. Danke Anne & Björn

Si has llegado hasta aquí buscando donde quedarte en Hikkaduwa, no busques más, has encontrado el lugar perfecto. El hotel está ubicado en una preciosa playa tranquila, con acceso directo al mar, la piscina tiene un entorno inmejorable, la decoración del hotel, desde las zonas comunes hasta las habitaciones tienen un cuidado y una decoración exquisitas, cuidadas hasta el último detalle. El desayuno es delicioso, abundante y el personal que te atiende está pendiente de que tengas todo lo que necesites. Franzis, es probablemente la hotel Manager más encantadora que haya conocido hasta la fecha, felicito al Hotel Dormero por tener una trabajadora tan excepcional, que desprende tan buen feeling y que encaja perfectamente con la filosofía del hotel.

Dieses Hotel ist ein Traum und jeder Wunsch wird einem von den Augen abgelesen. Direkt am Strand gelegen, kann man vom Balkon, der Terrasse oder dem Pool den Surfern zuschauen. Die Ausstattung des Hotels ist hochwertig und die Zimmer individuell gestaltet. Kunst ist im gesamten Hotel verteilt und lädt zum Entdecken ein. Die Hotelmanagerin Franzi kümmert sich mit ihrem Team persönlich und sehr herzlich um ihre Göste und hilft auch bei der Planung von Ausflügen oder Entdeckungstouren. Das à la carte Frühstück ist hervorragend und das „Rice & Curry“ sollte man zum Dinner unbedingt probieren! Meine Mutter und ich hatten einen traumhaften Urlaub im Dormero Sri Lanka und empfehlen das Hotel unbedingt weiter.
