The room given to me was very spacious, clean, well equipped and specially the toilet plus shower facility was commendable as it gives you an extra natural impression. Nipun, his wife, his mother and the girl who helps with the day-to-day work were all very attentive to take care of my requests and always available instantly. Easy access to beautiful beach, shops and restaurants. Even if one of the previous clients mentioned about the train track closeness and the noise, I found it's quiet and had a very good peaceful sleep during my stay of three nights. Had I had more days available, I'd have stayed more. I had the pleasure of having their home cooked tasty meals which was very nice and cheaper. They recommended me a very good reputed JLH Restaurant for lobsters and that was remarkable. All and all, I had a very pleasurable stay at Tamara Motels. Would not stay any other place when I'm in Hikkaduwa again.

Since our planned accommodation was out of the question at short notice, we found the Cozy Sea View Inn via ************ and had our tuk tuk driver drop us off there. We received a warm welcome and were able to choose one after viewing two rooms. We chose one on the ground floor with a small terrace. The room was very spacious, clean, well equipped and smelled very good. There was a fitness studio right next to our room, which can be used by hotel guests. We didn't take advantage of this, but we still thought it was a great opportunity. The manager Rajesh was very friendly and helpful. When he found out that we wanted to travel further to Unawatuna, he offered to take us with him since one of his drivers had to go that direction anyway. The location of the hotel, on a side street off the main street, was also ideal for us. The beach was within a few minutes' walk, as was a huge selection of restaurants and other shopping opportunities. We were really happy about our spontaneous stroke of luck and would love to come back.

We had a nice stay at the sea front. The rooms are very simple but clean. The hoteliers are lovely and we were able to enjoy excellent breakfasts. Saranga offers many excursions. Dilini is an excellent cook. They do their utmost to make you feel comfortable for a very affordable price. The beach is very close on foot but be careful the sea is very rough. There are nice restaurants Thambili and Aurora among others and shops nearby. You have to take a tuk tuk to go to the city center of Hikkaduwa if you want to swim without worries and enjoy the restaurants and shops.

The washroom was spotless and well-maintained, with everything tidy and in place. One of the highlights was the beautiful view early in the morning from the room—waking up to such a serene sight truly made the stay memorable. Highly recommend for anyone seeking peace, comfort, and a bit of natural beauty!
