We greatly enjoyed Valerie and Ken's hospitality in their beautiful country home located in rural County Down, just a few kms outside of picturesque Royal Hillsborough. A great place for a pre-breakfast walk, along country lanes, eating the blackberries from the hedges if that is your fancy. Hillsborough has a large forest walk and lake open to the public, the Royal Castle and grounds and several enticing pubs with good food.

What a lovely place to stay. Located in open countryside about 4 miles from the lovely town of Royal Hillsborough. Our rooms were fabulous - soft warm beds, powerful warm shower. Such friendly hosts - Valerie and Kenny (and dog Teddy), and a simply marvellous breakfast

Very sweet owners. They go out of their way to welcome you and make sure your stay is great. Very big and clean rooms on the 2nd floor. Big parking area. For breakfast, everything was put out to eat. I just couldn't eat everything, but I didn't want to be rude. Great stay!

Stayed here with my husband and our 2 children for four nights. Very quiet area. Best nights sleep on any trip away we ever had. Rooms were absolutely outstanding. Had a suite, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Rooms were immaculate. The breakfast was superb. Cooked breakfast to your choice, fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, toast and orange juice. Valerie also made banana bread for us which was delicious. Tea/coffee making facilities in the evening which was a lovely touch. The house is in a very rural area, but still close to Belfast. Best of both worlds really. Highly recommended.

Stayed one night at Drum Manor.Lovely quiet peaceful location out in the country. A delightful host and cannot forget her lovely husband. Bed was so comfortable and lovely shower. Felt like a hotel room. I cannot recommend it highly enough

Drum Manor, Hillsborough beautiful setting with outstanding views only matched by the warm hospitality from Valerie and Kenny. Bedroom has every amenity toy could wish for. Breakfast was exceptional. A truly Lovely Guest House
