Beautiful small hotel on the river bank. It is a 358 years old building, you just imagine all the people and events that were here in the past… If you like a small, boutique and quite place then you are at the good place. Have in mind that is an old house and made from wood so you can hear a lot of noise from people walking through the steps, but this was not bathering us. A great self service breakfast is served in the morning.

EIN Stern ist noch z6 viel. Wir bekamen nicht das von ins gebuchte Zimmer mit Dusche, sondern eine Abstellkammer mit schmutzige Badewanne. Der Weg zum Zimmer war mehr als beschwerlich. Die Treppe war extrem steil, für uns als ältere Menschen, sehr gefährlich. Das Bett war eine Katastrophe, alte Matratze und die Bettdecke viel zu dünn. Direkt am Rhein ist eine Baustelle. Der Preis für unser Zimmer stimmte auch nicht. Wir haben zu viel bezahlt und für ein solches Zimmer 110 Euro pro Nacht eine Frechheit

Das Hotel ist liebevoll in einem traditionellem Fachwerk-Stil erhalten. Ein Innenhof lädt zum verweilen und entspannen ein. Mehrere Künstler stellen ihre Werke aus. Ein tolles Frühstück mit selbst produziertem Honig, sehr lecker. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber individuell und einzigartig eingerichtet. Bei meinen insgesamt drei Aufenthalten war ich immer sehr zufrieden. Es sind ausreichend Parkplätze am Hotel vorhanden, ohne Gebühr. Nahe gelegen gibt es ein empfehlenswertes Restaurant (rechts) und einen fantastischen Blick auf den Rhein mit seiner Auenlandschaft (links).

Sehr altmodisches und heruntergekommenes Zimmer / Dachkammer . Blick auf ein altes verfallenes Dach . Aber der Preis war dafür gepfeffert. Frühstück war Mittelklasse, Alles in Allem , waren wir mit dem Preis Leistungsverhältnis nicht zufrieden . Nochmal ........nein Danke !

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön gelegen, in einem von außen toll aussehenden Gebäude. Leider war mein Zimmer sehr einfach und altmodisch eingerichtet, mit einem unbequemen Bett und einem in die Jahre gekommenen Bad. Größter Nachteil ist, dass die Wände sehr hellhörig waren und ich aufgrund einer Feier im Nachbarzimmer so gut wie gar nicht schlafen konnte.

Das RheinRiver Guesthouse ist ein echter Geheimtipp für alle, die das Besondere schätzen. Das Haus und die Zimmer sind enorm gemütlich und versprühen einen romanischen Flair. Alles war sehr sauber und man sieht sehr viele kleine Aufmerksamkeiten die davon zeugen dass hier wirklich achtsam und mit Herz etwas wunderbares geschaffen hat. Das Personal ist außerordentlich freundlich und hat uns wärmstens umsorgt. Wir kommen regelmäßig wieder!

Ich komme zum wiederholten Male hierher, wenn ich nach Köln muss. Der Weg nach Köln ist einfach, aber hier kann ich Atem holen und die Weite am Rhein genießen nach einem fordernden Tag. Das Haus von 1666 hat einen ganz besonderen Charme und die Betreiber sehr warmherzig. Im Frühjahr sitze ich gerne bei einem Drink im Hof und schaue den Fasanen zu, lausche dem Plätschern des Brunnen.
