Hitoyoshi Hotels with Airport pickup service

I stayed for the first time after being renewed. I was surprised that it was very clean. The entrance from the entrance is artistic and delicate, and I feel that the approach to the front desk is a hotel that protects a very venerable tradition. The front desk was great, and after checking out, I also kept my luggage for Hitoyoshi sightseeing. I was able to spend a really pleasant time with a smile and respond to the end. Ryokan Ayu No Sato provides an authentic and peaceful Japanese ryokan experience, with traditional accommodations, beautiful hot springs, and delicious seasonal cuisine. Its location in the scenic Kirishima area, surrounded by mountains and nature, offers a perfect escape for relaxation, cultural immersion, and wellness.

The hotel decoration for Christmas was superb & beautiful. Initially when we checked in, the passage way at level 2 had an unpleasant musty smell but a few hours later the smell was gone. I think the hotel should look into improving the ventilation & add some aromatic scent. The breakfast spread for 1320 yen was excellent. There were Japanese as well as Western food choices.

The staff were friendly and I felt good staying at a cultural property class accommodation.

The hotel is located in a good location. It is a 5-minute walk from JR Hitoyoshi Station and Aoi Aso Shrine is across the road. It takes more than ten minutes to walk to Kamimura Eel House. The hotel is a building from the Showa era and is a national tangible cultural property, so it is inevitable that the facilities are slightly old. There is an indoor hot spring in the hotel, which is very convenient. The proprietress speaks English, but the staff is limited in English. After staying for two nights, there were more guests on the first night and arranged a room on the first floor. The next morning the proprietress offered to change to a room with a better view on the second floor, and she could see the side In the Kuma River, you can hear the sound of the river at night. On the day of leaving the shop, the proprietress drove to the JR station. Although the hotel’s facilities are slightly outdated and the wooden house has poor sound insulation, it makes people feel the caring Japanese service.

Surrounding environment: Kuma Hospital is next to it, which may be a bit uncomfortable psychologically, but it is located in a relatively prosperous area of ​​Hitoyoshi, with convenience stores, izakayas, supermarkets, and souvenir shops. Service: The English level at the front desk is good.

離jr人吉步行可達，爺爺奶奶經營的算是民宿！他們自己住在一樓，客房在旁邊一小棟的樓梯上去，有四個房間，但我入住時衹有我們所以公共區域獨享了🥹。有冰箱微波爐電吹風，一個浴室，兩個廁所，上去的廳很大有桌子。如果要吃飯需要提前詢問預訂，有時候爺爺奶奶沒空就衹能自己去便利店提前購賣了哦。 爺爺會使用翻譯器，那個還挺準的不用擔心！家裡還有自行車，是免費可以使用的。 攜程發來的郵件裏的酒店日本電話不太準確，可以到了日本以後拜託前一家酒店查詢一下人吉的森野～ 晚上還可以直接拿着房間鑰匙去朝陽館（另一家温泉旅館）泡温泉！屬實是算驚喜了，不過爺爺説是合作，不知道是不是一直都有哦，請當做一個驚喜看待～ 爺爺奶奶人都很好，下次去還會想住這裏😭第一天到急着出門還讓提前入住了，本來衹想放下行李。中午2.00要飯店午休，爺爺怕我們來不及直接開車帶我們到了飯店門口，真的好感動雖然其實自己走過去也就十分鐘但是大熱天的！真的！很舒服。特別推薦一下米津米店這家飯店，每天衹有一個固定套餐，是老爺爺老奶奶一起經營，日語交流沒問題，英語也行，稍微有點困難但真的非常划算且好吃。 小城市感覺大家互相之間都認識，也會和我們聊起來住在森野之類的事，是特別幸福的一場旅途。😊 最後一張是正確的酒店日本電話，應該是，記不太清了可以試一下落地以後進行聯繫，郵件我發過沒有迴音也不知道是不是攜程給的郵箱也是錯了的😤

Location isn’t convenient if you aren’t driving and it is a distance away from the main area. Service is great. The room is comfortable and clean.
