Facilities: The air conditioner makes unusual noises, so people who are sensitive to sound should use earplugs; the WI-FI cannot be connected. There are two elderly people at the front desk who are very enthusiastic, but their English is not very fluent, so communication is a little difficult. We were unable to connect to the wireless network during our three-day stay at the hotel, and they had no solution; the shower water was not very hot, and the temperature was average;
Service: The best thing about the hotel is the breakfast, the rice noodles are delicious, clean and refreshing
Location: Average, located in a residential area, very quiet. It takes about half an hour to walk to District 1 and District 2. It's a little far. A taxi costs about 12 RMB, which is acceptable.

Another great stay at the Hoang Lan Hotel. A smaller Boutique Hotel where you can experience the Vietnamese life style with The comforts of so many upgraded amenities of the hotel. Ranked I believe nr 55 out of 600+ Hotel’s in the city. Walkability is great to many tourist sites and many restaurants. Adding this review for the great foods for breakfast that are included in your stay. Great rates with wonderful breakfast from Pho to dim Sung to western choices of eggs and meats Fruits are all outstanding and so fresh. Try it you will not be disappointed with the hotel. I live Dalat and have been staying here on all my trips to HCMC for 6 years.

As I have written many reviews for Trip Advisor one thing that I always point out to travelers , is the hidden Gem of the Hoang Lan Hotel as the amenities and costing of a stay here for Saigon is a wonderful experience and a pleasure Have been staying here almost every other month for 5 years and each stay is always comfortable and enjoyable. Living in Vietnam I know the difference in various properties and The Hoang Lan Hotel excels in customer satisfaction. For a 3 Star Hotel they offer many nice extras in their property. Wonder full pricing for a comfortable hotel and is off the Main Street so no road noise. In saigon there is road noise. My fullest recommendation of this property which is a hidden gem in Ho Ch Minh. Breakfast is very good in a buffet setting and you can also make your own Latte’ s at breakfast. For the price and the amenities and breakfast included , I think Trip Advisor now ranks the Hoang Lan Hotel number 64 out of 500+ Properties in Ho Chi Minh.

I had booked for 2 nights but checked out within an hour of checking in. It is more of a Bed and Breakfast than a hotel. There was no cold water for bath available as their storage tanks are located on roof so only hot water was there. Even after 2 hours of operating air conditioning, it was not cool enough. Early check in was also not provided. Overall, it was not a comfortable experience, and I wouldn't recommend it for those looking for basic luxury also. The room and premises were clean and service was prompt. The receptionist was kind enough to help us issue refund promptly. Location is little outside city centre and found difficult to find cabs.

Stayed here for a few days on our first time to HCMC. Loved it! Very clean and spacious rooms. The breakfast was lovely. The hotel is located about 20 minute walk from the main part of town and behind another building leaving it quiet for the nights. Would recommend if staying in HCMC
