"Really satisfied with the stay. Home hotel is furnished with sophisticated design and pleasant experience to do for staycations. One of the best options i would say, pink decorations make so fancy and modern design. They also got the bar at M level, well-thought for customers to feel relax when you visit their bar. We will be back again if we visit to HCMC."

"We booked a room at Tropical House and were very disappointed when we arrived. The room was very different in condition from the one we looked at in the photographs at the time of booking. The furniture in the room was old, broken, the bed linen was stale, the towels had holes. We immediately went to the reception to cancel our reservation, but they refused to do so. They gave us the phone number of the hotel owner and told us to resolve the issue with her. But she also refused to give us a refund and asked us to stay in the room, and the next day she promised to put us in a better room. The next day the room was indeed a little better, but there was still an unpleasant aftertaste from the way the guests were treated. In addition, the room was not cheap - we paid about 20 dollars per night. We hope that in the future Tropical House will not provide guests with rooms with broken furniture or towels with holes. I would like to note that trip.com was very sympathetic to us and compensated us for part of the unpleasant experience with coins, for which we are very grateful to them!"

"The City View Hotel Saigon is a decent option for travelers who prioritize location over luxury. The hotel's central location earned it a perfect score for location, with easy access to nearby attractions and public transportation. However, the service and amenities were lacking, with a 3/5 rating for both categories. While the staff were friendly enough, they were not particularly attentive or helpful beyond the basics. The cleaning was also average, with some minor areas for improvement. The amenities were limited, with no standout features or extras to enhance the guest experience. Overall, the City View Hotel Saigon is a good option for budget-conscious travelers who want a convenient location, but don't expect top-notch service or amenities."

"We used it as a base for transit sightseeing. As the name suggests, it's relatively close to the airport, but it's not far enough to walk with large luggage and the pedestrian path to the airport isn't well-developed, so I think I'll have to take a taxi. think. It seems like you can arrange a taxi at the front desk, but when I used it, it was cheaper to use the ride-hailing app Grab. The room was larger and cleaner than I expected, and I was able to watch Japanese broadcasts on the TV. The toilets and bathrooms are made of frosted glass so that their silhouettes can be seen from the living space, so you may need to consider privacy when using the room with a group of the same sex. There are many convenience stores and restaurants nearby, so I don't think you will have any trouble finding food."

"To be honest, this hotel is pretty good, the facilities are good, the soundproofing is also very good, the room is a bit small, and the socket is not good, the German standard conversion plug cannot be inserted. . . There are also few sockets, so you must turn off the refrigerator if you want to use the computer. Very troublesome. But overall it is still very good, the front desk is also very polite, although not Chinese, but English is okay😁"

Great
GGuest UserThe overall interior design of the hotel is quite unique and trendy—I was drawn in by this modern style, which led me to book a stay here. Right after we got out of the car, hotel staff came over to carry our luggage up to the lobby (which requires climbing a full flight of stairs). Check-in didn’t involve waiting at the front desk; instead, we were invited to relax in the lounge with welcome snacks and tea, while a staff member came to confirm our booking details and personally escorted us to our room. The room wasn’t large, but it was clean and tidy. Drinks in the minibar were complimentary, and we could request more bottled water at no extra charge. The bed was comfortably firm, and there was a cozy lounge sofa by the window. The toilet and shower were in separate areas, and the bathroom featured a massage bathtub. From 2:00 to 3:30 PM, afternoon tea was served buffet-style at the rooftop restaurant on the 12th floor, offering light snacks, fruits, and beverages. The restaurant’s design was even more eye-catching—it felt like stepping into a futuristic space capsule. Everything had been going wonderfully… until 8 AM the next morning, when I was jolted awake by loud banging from above. My room was on the 10th floor, directly below the gym. I started hearing heavy objects hitting the floor and people running—it felt like there was construction going on upstairs. The vibration and impact noises were mentally draining. Even when we first entered the room, I noticed the soundproofing wasn’t great—noises from the hallway were very loud. But since hallway traffic was minimal and neighboring rooms were quiet, I thought it would be fine. However, the level of impact noise from upstairs was simply intolerable. If you’re going to place noisy facilities above guest rooms, shouldn’t proper soundproofing be in place? I’m pretty sure I’m not the first person to have experienced this issue. Shouldn’t rooms with unresolved noise problems be removed from sale until they’re fixed? For a room that costs 3.6 million VND per night, dealing with this level of noise is just unacceptable. We reported it to the front desk, and they said we could change rooms—but only after a new one was cleaned and ready, around 2 PM. They told us to pack our bags and leave them in the room; they would help move them to the new room for us. At 2 PM, we were finally moved to a room on the 4th floor. Unfortunately, maybe due to the rushed cleaning, there was a used towel hanging on the bathroom door, and when we turned on the massage jets in the tub, dirty water came out. At that point, I didn’t even feel like complaining anymore. Also, being on a lower floor meant we could hear more traffic noise from the street outside—it was still better than the thumping from above, but nonetheless, it was noisy. The hotel did give us a handwritten apology card and some chocolates. But I noticed other guests received the same, so it seemed more like a standard welcome gift rather than a sincere apology. When we checked out, perhaps to make up for the inconvenience, they offered us a free ride to the airport. The car was quite old and looked like it might break down at any moment, but we made it there safely, and I appreciated saving some transportation costs. Overall, the location of the hotel is excellent. Step out the back door and you’ll find many fruit vendors, and right around the corner is a jewelry shop that’s highly recommended for currency exchange. Across the street is Ben Thanh Market and the metro station entrance. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and both breakfast and afternoon tea were decent. However, the poor soundproofing and average facilities were disappointing. To access the pool, you have to walk through the restaurant, and the pool itself is tiny—not exactly inviting. The steam room and sauna also seemed unused. For this price, there are probably better options available.

NNomadic legendFirst of all this hotel is very strict about 2 pm checkin . so kindly plan you arrival accordingly i slept in lobby sofa for 5-6 hours since i was badly tired after a long journey. This is not the case with other hotel since i had many friends in ho chi min at that time in other hotels like rex, renaissance etc. This hotel was suggested by ASEAN ceramic exhibitors i Dont know why. May be because of its historical significance. Rooms Lobby carpets have that mild stinking smell. Rooms are very basic nothing special for the type of money charged. Gym was basic. For some reason mostly old age westerners come and stay here. Western Breakfast is the best thing this hotel offer.

AAnonymous UserI recently completed a three-night stay at M Hotel Saigon, and while my overall experience was satisfactory, I am deeply disappointed with how a particular situation was handled during my stay. I feel it is necessary to bring this to your attention to ensure that future incidents of a similar nature are managed more professionally. During my stay, I received a call from the hotel receptionist, informing me that a complaint had been made against me for making excessive noise at night and disturbing other guests. This accusation was both untrue and extremely embarrassing. I want to state clearly that I did not make any noise during the night. My partner and I were asleep, and the only possible sounds from my room were regular movements such as walking to the restroom or flushing the toilet—none of which could be considered excessive or disruptive. I have stayed at both M City Hotel and M Hotel Saigon multiple times this year, and this is the first time I have ever encountered such an issue. I expect the hotel to handle such complaints with greater care and discretion. Instead, I was put in a very uncomfortable situation where I was asked directly whether I had made noise or not, as if I had to defend myself against an unsubstantiated claim. Even after this incident, I decided to file a complaint with the hotel booking platform regarding the way this was handled. Shortly after that, when I returned to the hotel at night, one of your staff members approached me in the lobby and apologized. While I appreciate the apology, I still feel the need to bring this matter directly to the hotel’s attention because it highlights a significant issue in how guest complaints are handled. I believe that in situations like this, the hotel should conduct proper verification rather than immediately confronting a guest based solely on a complaint from another party. Making a judgment without any form of investigation not only creates an unfair experience for the accused guest but also diminishes the professionalism of the hotel’s service. I urge your management to review how such complaints are handled in the future. A better approach would be to verify the claim before reaching out to the guest, perhaps by checking security footage or monitoring noise levels before assuming wrongdoing. This would ensure a more fair and respectful experience for all guests. Furthermore, I initially sent an email regarding this issue but have received no response. The lack of acknowledgment only adds to my disappointment. Since my concerns have been ignored, I have no choice but to express them publicly through this review. I sincerely hope your management will take this matter seriously and improve your complaint-handling process to prevent similar experiences for future guests.

AAveryWe stayed on the 37th floor and the view was amazing – you could see the river, the metro line and the main road. There’s a 24/7 supermarket right downstairs with lots of food and drinks to choose from. Check-in was simple and super convenient, and Ngoc was quick to respond whenever we needed anything. Parking was also pretty affordable. Our whole family had a great time and it was really a memorable experince.

GGuest UserLonger review to explain our experience. It is not 4 stars. Maybe 20/30 years ago it was but not now. We paid about $200 for one night, for a river view club room with afternoon and nightly candles cocktails and club room access, 3pm late checkout and 15% off airport transport. When we arrived they would not tell us how much airport transport would be for leaving the next day. Just that it was expensive and we should get a cab instead. That was a little disappointing, we should have pushed for the price but we were tired from our flight and hungry. The room we were put in was grubby and had a bad smell and NO river view. We called reception to mention we had booked the river view. They moved us down and across the hall. The new room had a nice view, had clearly being prepared for guests with brochures and pamphlets. No smell and had been recently cleaned. It felt like they were just trying to see if they could get away with giving us the bad room instead of the one we had booked. I've added pictures of the view from both rooms. After moving we went to afternoon tea which was really nice. Although our room move meant we had to wait because no one had shared the records of our room switch which was kind of awkward. Once we got to it the food was nice and filling (see food pictures) The bathrooms in that lounge were out of hand soap. We went back to the room. Had a shower but the shower/bath drains onto the floor so a large unsafe pool of water Is right under your feet as you step out of the tub. Went out for the canapès. That was disappointing. We got there at 6:20pm. Everything had gone cold except the fried rice. There were no cocktails, just bottles of whisky and rum and you could take a can of coke, sprite, or tonic water to mix yourself. Luckily we were still full from the afternoon tea. We went out nearby and came back to find the street party next to the hotel was still raging and although the people mostly went home, the music players kept going until about 1am. That was awful and I'd recommend not staying on the river side if you're staying Friday to Sundays and want to get up early. Next morning we went to breakfast, it was a very small selection. We got a bread roll that was hard as a rock. Nothing was very fresh. It was disappointing. Also can only get black coffee or machine coffee. We went out for the day and came back to pack at 2:30 for our flight and the safe had stopped working. Could not even type in the PIN. This was nervwracking as it was our last day and passports were in there. It took 4 calls to reception and 1 hour for them to send someone to fix it. Batteries had run out. These things happen but maybe there should be a schedule for changing these things or at least a swift response when someone is trying to check out and cannot open it. When the safe technician did show up he was great and very personable. Once I got our passports we checked out and they stored our bags safely in the luggage room for us until we got our cab. On the other amenities; the gym seemed good snd had indoor and outdoor terrace with more weights. The doormen in lobby are cheerful. The pool was very basic, I think it looks better in the pictures. The lobby bar is expensive. The lobby is pretty but smells like it was mopped with dirty water sometimes which is unpleasant. Overall it was a bit of a letdown. I'd give it 3 stars, it would be 2 if we had stayed in our first room. We would return to the area but try a different hotel.
