We booked 3 nights in standard room with windows, but the window facing into the stairwells, so it really is a room with no windows. Anyway, the bed and room is fairly comfortable once we get used to the room. There is enough shelf and cupboard to store and put away your stuffs that you don't feel clutter. This is a family owned mini hotel type, that are looked after reasonably well by the owner. The hotel is right opposite Takar plaza with clean and air-conditioning food market. Complementary Breakfast is typical eggs and baguette or noodle soup with Vietnamese coffee. I would pay more to get triple room with actual windows an more spaces, if we want to stay on pham ngu lao Street.

I stayed here as a solo traveller. This place is situated in a great location, walking distance to everything. It's right next to Central Market, which has a nice assortment of authentic Vietnamese restaurants and milk tea places at good prices. You can walk to all the landmarks -- Ben Tranh Market, the Post Office, the Opera House, Saigon River, Bitexco Tower, and everything in between. I recommend taking a tuk tuk or a hop on hop off bus at night, when the city is bustling and alive. It's really a great experience. Coming back to the hotel, it's an adequate 2-3 star place. Nothing great, nothing special. One thing I will say is that it's not worth getting a balcony, even though that sounds like a nice option. It overlooks an alley. Tv had about six channels, and none in English, but I didn't come to watch Tv, right? Bed is comfy and the bathroom is nice enough. I read reviews saying that it is really loud here because of all the street noise. That is completely false. Although this hotel is located very, very close to some central and busy streets, it is tucked away where noise is not an issue. On the plus side, air conditioner works very well. If you're simply looking for a place to sleep and are focusing on seeing the sights, this place is fine.

The hotel was nice and clean. It was located 2 minutes walk from the pedestrian street. This was both a plus and a big minus. This area is famous for its restaurants and night clubs. Very loud music played until 3 am and it was impossible to sleep.

Excellent value. A good location very near to all the action but far enough away to be quiet. I was really pleased that I had a big balcony space on the roof and had a great view. The room was also big, the bed was comfortable and there was a fridge and a desk.

Arriving in Saigon late at night, I didn't have a place to stay because I relied on SG having many hotels, I accidentally found Tahug House. Even though it was late at night, the host still supported me enthusiastically when I checked in, super cute. The room was clean, the decor was cute, it felt very chill in the center of District 1. I really recommend those who are looking for a convenient place to stay in Ho Chi Minh City - don't miss this place.

I was back to the home at 1 am and see a man who was sleeping at the door without clothes. It was really terrible for me as a girl to get in at midnight. I have to sleep over at my friend’s home and returned at the morning the day after. Bad experience ever
