2-Star Hotels in Ho Chi Minh City

I was at The Nicecy Hotel for four nights in late October (2024) and would like to express how much I enjoyed my stay. The location is very convenient in District 1 and near to many sights, restaurants and shopping areas. Nestled down a side alley near the Phu Dong intersection, being away from the main roads means you can barely hear any traffic noise. The rooms are clean and furnished well, with quite possibly one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. As the water heaters are solar powered, you will need to turn the shower on for a few minutes before the water gets hot (handle pointing left) but if you are in a hurry, then a cold shower will wake you up. Finally, the staff at the main desk were friendly, helpful and polite. So a big thank you goes out to Thanh Dat and Ngan for all of their help during my stay. Oh, and the price is extremely reasonable as well. I fully recommend this hotel to anyone visiting HCMC looking for great value accommodation.

This is my second time visiting Vietnam (HCM) this simple and busy city has a lot to offer. So choosing a place to stay near touristy areas, convenient stores and restaurants is a big consideration when it comes to traveling for me. I stumbled upon “Meander Saigon Hostel” on YouTube and decided to give this place a shot. I must say that this hostel is the most simplistic hostel I have ever seen. It provides the necessary facilities that is required for a temporary place to stay. I was so surprised that most (80%) of the touristy areas is walking distance from the hostel. It is 100% affordable ($52/night) and I must say all in all I am very satisfied with my 5D4N stay in Vietnam (HCM). I would recommend this place to those looking for an affordable, quiet and safe accommodation to stay at. Thank you Meander Saigon Hostel and see you soon !

Great and very cheap hotel. It’s located at district 1 and nearby many famous attractions and food spots. It’s a love hotel so dun expect the 5 stars type of ambience but the service from the receptionist and the hotel attendant were really awesome and attentive. I love the big projector TV and also the jacuzzi!

This hotel is good for those on budget while traveling. The location of the hotel is near to all the tourist spot in Ho Chi Min, no need to ride just walk around and you can visit all the places that locals is offering tours in the streets. And after walking in the tourist spots in the city they offer a good massage in the hotel, you can really pamper yourself after your walk :)

Inexpensive location good quiet clean value for money. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, two cute and warm front desk sisters and older brothers greeted us, and then insisted on helping to carry all the luggage into the room. There are also delicious and cheap restaurants here. The people here are very nice. They will live here when Nha Trang returns.

The Innature Hostel is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Ho Chi Minh City will find that the Innature Hostel is a fantastic accommodation choice.The hotel is only 4km from Saigon Train Station and 8km from Tan Son Nhat International Airport, giving guests a number of convenient transportation options. Just a short walk from Ben Thanh Metro Station, traveling to most city destinations is a breeze. Seeing Ho Chi Minh City's sights from this hotel is easy with People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Ben Bach Dang Park and Independence Palace all close by.In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings.

It is located in the bars' street. Noisy the whole street until 3am. Room facility is good. The bad smell in the lift and the building. Sometimes, you can hear fighting and shouting of some guests in the mid night. Resceptionists can speak English language well.

This is an old hotel, some facilities look a bit old. The environmental sanitation is maintained in good condition, and the service staff will try their best to help solve problems. It is not far from the traditional market and shopping mall. After ten o'clock in the evening, the lights of the whole street are mostly turned off. I don't like the noise of a county. This is a quiet night.

It was nice that all the staff were friendly. Unlike other hotels, I liked it because there were no bugs. It's quiet because you have to enter from the main street. The air conditioner and wifi worked well.

The hotel is located in a quiet street, with a day-to-day reception and good advice to discover the city. Evite the rooms on the floor because no lift and the cleanness of the water room is a little neglected. The hotel remains a good price-quality ratio, given its location.
