We had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful homestay hosted by the wonderful Nha and Tao, who went above and beyond to make our stay truly special. The location is perfect — nestled right beside serene rice fields, yet just a short stroll from the town center. Bicycles are provided free of charge, making it easy and fun to explore the charming surroundings of Tam Coc. Nha even arranged a lovely birthday cake for my wife, which was so wonderful. Breakfast each morning was fantastic, featuring delicious banana pancakes, omelets, and fresh bread with jam. We were also grateful for the early check-in, which made our arrival smooth and stress-free.

If you looking for accommodation in Ninh Binh, look no further. The warmth and hospitality provided by Nga and her husband makes Sunshine Homestay an incredible stay. Located next to picturesque rice fields the Homestay is a nice 7 minute walk from central Tam Coc. To be honest if you’re looking for a bit of peace and quiet, you wouldn’t really want to be in the centre. Nga helped me organise what to see to make the most of my time in Ninh Binh and organise a driver for the day - her husband. The room was modern and had a really comfortable bed, allowing me to recharge after a busy day. I hope to come back to Vietnam next year and return to stay at Tam Coc Sunshine Homestay.

We had the absolutely most amazing time staying in Tam Coc’s homestay with Nga and her family. We were welcomed with a delicious fresh Mango juice and were made to feel straight at home. I recommend organising a day trip through Nga, great value for money, an english guide and the day is perfectly set up. The rooms are big, air co makes the rooms nice and cold and the rooms are nice and clean. The photos don’t do Nga’s homestay justice. You are in the midst of rice fields and on the side on a mountain. About a max 5 minute walk through the rice fields from the busy Tam Coc. Nga learned we loved cats and brought our her very handsome orange cat for us to pet - so cute!

This was a beautiful little homestay in a perfect location. The owners were just lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was very nice , bed was very comfortable and the pool was lovely and clean. I will definitely be back , such good value and made us very welcome.

Tam Coc Sunshine Homestay was the highlight of our trip. Spectacular location across the rice fields from Tam Coc township, quiet enough to enjoy the serenity while still being a short walk (or cycle, motorcycle, or drive) from the town centre. We swam in the pool, borrowed the bikes, and ate breakfasts every day. The breakfasts are a must-have! Delicious. Ngà and her family were a delight. She helped us plan our trip (and coached me on my Vietnamese). We're already planning our next visit.

What a gem of a place in a spectacular location run by a beautiful family. Nga and her staff ordered take away dinner in one night, breakfast was exceptional, rooms to clean, pool was bliss after our big days out love this place 😍. Great location, rose bikes into town and can’t wait to return

This is an absolutely lovely homestay! It's just outside Tam Coc, so peaceful and quiet, with rice fields around it, but just a short walk or cycle into town. It's scrupulously clean, comfortable and attractive, with a big pool and fantastic food. Best of all, the owner is so nice and helpful! Try the homemade pineapple jam with delicious toast for breakfast and enjoy a good night's sleep in the peace of the countryside. The view from the rooftop dining area is gorgeous! I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Excellent homestay with helpful host just outside center of Tam Coc. Citycenter is walking distance, but the surroundings are very quiet. We stayed for two nights and had a wonderful room with good beds (although a bit hard, but that’s Vietnam). We rented scooters for a very reasonable price, so we had every opportunity to see the surroundings and visit all highlights. The host also helped arrange transport to our next destination (also for reasonable price). A must stay in Tam Coc.
