Our second visit to this fantastic lodge, the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating which makes the experience all the more enjoyable. Excellent place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle, highly recommended

A lovely setting, but could probably do with a TV in the rooms or a small spa centre, as between game drives there is not a lot to do, and obviously you cannot just wander around. Showers are excellent, beds very comfortable. Breakfast is good - particularly the fresh eggs and omelettes. Evening meals are more hit and miss. The service could be better, but the young manager is addressing this. The game drives are superb. We had Shadrach and Elias as our guides and they were fantastic. They were determined that we should have a good time and see everything. The knowledge they have of the animals and their tracking skills are amazing. The beers at sundown in the park were a great touch. Thank you.

Excellent place to enjoy our first safaris. Hotel lovely, staff very friendly and helpful, guides/trekker very knowledgeable. Loved the sundowners and breakfast coffee and muffins in the bush. Trucks great fun to ride on. Pool overlooks the bush.

Start to finish excellent service at this resort. Location of resort is good,rooms were clean,food was good. Staff was very caring ,safari guide sam and driver Noku were👏🏻👏🏻excellent. We had memorable stay and will highly recommend.

The game drives were wonderful. Qolani and Paul were wonderful. They really made the experience great. Staff is so friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food was ok. I was expecting a culinary experience, but it was average. On one day for lunch (new years day) we got what tasted like frozen pizza so everybody just took one bite, not typical South African food for some meals. Breakfasts were good, the waiting in line to get an egg prepared to order was long so I had eggs one morning the rest just ate what was available. Dinner was buffet style most days.Food was lukewarm. The meat wasn’t seasoned, precooked and finished on the grill. I have a hard time believing that there was a chef during our stay, the food was disappointing. We did waste a lot of food, it looked good but didn’t taste great. Same with desserts, looked delicious but didn’t taste good which should be evident by how much was left on the plates. I didn’t complain at that point because that’s what they offer and complaining tends to spoil the experience for the family. The AC in one of our rooms didn’t work, they did come look at it but it never really cooled the room down. Overall, a great experience. Would I go to this lodge again? Probably not.

The hotel meets expectations. Positive points: Explanatory Safari, with a great chance of seeing the big 5. The employees are attentive and collaborative. There is space in the pool and sofas around for all guests. The service is not agile, but it is attentive. Negative points: the food is not good.

Staff are fantastic! Food is lovely. Pilot was our driver for our 3 day safari. He takes his job very seriously and our safety is vital. He’s a serious man but very good at his job. Isaac is such a happy waiter and always aims to please, again he’s very good at his job. Food always tasted homemade so the chef she is great! We would recommend this accommodation for your safari. We had a great time!

900 euro's for 2 nights, with a simple buffet, disgusting free cocktails, they dont give you the feeling that for this money
