We had a wonderful stay at Rafiki Lodge! The location is perfect—close to town but still in nature. Reinhardt offers game drives in a nearby Big 5 reserve, which we highly recommend. Maria gave us such a warm welcome, and we’d definitely love to come back!

Everything about the facilities, the hosts, the activities offered and the food was exceptional. It would be great if they add television sets in the rooms so one is able to keep up to date with news and sports etc, even whilst in the relaxation zone.

The hosts Reinhardt & Maria are lovely. The lodge is in a glorious setting with animals grazing by your patio. Nothing is too much trouble and the food was wonderful. Not just safari but horse riding, massage and local shopping. Ideal for family groups - we were a group of four adults and three teenagers and we all enjoyed our holiday there. Would love to go back.

Unfortunately we only stayed two nights in the Rafiki Bush Lodge. It is such an awesome location with lovely house owners and a great chef. They made our stay unforgettable! We can only recommend staying in this lodge! The food was also so delicios!!

This property is a true gem in a quant location surrounded by nature. The host family and chef were super nice and the meals were delicious. The amenities were top notch. I wish we had stayed longer to experience their safari. Totally recommend if you're looking for a great lodging place in Hoedspruit.

I can't speak highly enough of our stay. The rooms are amazing, the house is beautiful with an entertaining deck with lots of chairs to relax in by the pool, or maybe you're game to get in the cold water. The food was abundant & delicious. There are some resident animals you will see at the water holes as you sip a cocktail & watch the amazing sunsets. We hired a car which I recommend so you can get around. A safari with Reinhardt is a must. His knowledge is unsurpassable. Everyone is friendly & go out of their way to make your stay the best. We did a 10 day safari with Reinhardt the previous year which was outstanding. I would totally recommend a week Kruger safari finishing at Rafiki for a few days.

We had a great short stay at Rafiki with Reinhard, Maria and their lovely staff, with our (not so) early morning run/bike through the estate the absolute highlight. Teenagers are not always easy to impress but the combination of 'private villa', good food, poolside drinks and the abundance of wildlife right on our doorstep had them swooning.
