Meidu Hotel

I arrived at the hotel at midnight. Luckily, the front desk upgraded my suite. It was spacious, clean and tidy. The hotel breakfast was also good. The reservation also included a one-day tour of the grassland and volcano. The tour guide and driver, Mr. Bai, was really warm and thoughtful. 👍🏻.

The room is reasonably arranged, and many details are well considered

The electric curtains in room number 1510 automatically open and close every 30 to 40 minutes. At first, I thought I had encountered it, but after several tests, there was indeed a problem. Because the check-in time was late, I thought I would contact the front desk to solve the problem early in the morning, so I didn't sleep much. Until I contacted the front desk at 5.6 in the morning, a waiter came, came in, closed the curtains, and said she could go to sleep without asking what the question was. It took me a long time to explain, and I asked her to observe in the room for about 20 minutes. The curtain issue came up again. She said she would contact the engineering department to come over, and she left. Before leaving, I asked: "It's so early, will it take some time for the engineering department to come over?" She said it would be soon. I waited for about 10 minutes, contacted the front desk, and asked that I didn't need to come over for repairs, because there were other people in the room, and I didn't know how long it would take for repairs to be done, so I'd better rest as much as possible. As a result, the front desk did not notify the waiter after agreeing, so the waiter kept sending WeChat messages to their group in the corridor, without muting the phone, and the phone kept ringing. After another 20 minutes or so, someone from the engineering department came over and went straight into the house to start repairs. There was still someone lying on the bed, and I thought about it. After getting rid of them, I just wanted to go to sleep. I got up at 10 o'clock to check out. I was in a hurry to leave. I asked the hotel for a refund through Ctrip, but the communication was ineffective. I didn’t want to leave a bad review, but I really had no choice. I didn’t take any videos or photos because it took too long to wait for the curtains. Finally, I hope the hotel will check its facilities regularly so as not to cause the same or other inconveniences to guests again!
