We had a great stay at this beautiful hotel. The whole property is very well maintained, with a lovely atmosphere – perfect for relaxing by the pool. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the service was excellent. Our room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was also very good, with plenty of options to choose from. One of the highlights was the free bike rental – it was such a nice way to explore the surroundings, ride to the beach, and even discover nearby rice fields. Would definitely come back!

Just as beautiful as the pictures
The staff are very warm and hospitable
Book 2 bedroom room with basement kitchen living room detached very convenient
Breakfast was very rich with local hot dish very tasty
It is about a 10 minute drive from the ancient city and the Coconut Boat
Highly recommended to stay here when visiting Danang/Hoi An

Small new boutique resort

The grounds are too small and there is nothing special other than the rooms.
The rooms looked pretty in the pictures, but they did not really feel that luxurious.

So nearly a fabulous hotel but it falls short in a couple of key areas. The hotel is certainly expensive for Hoi An prices and at that price point you expect everything to be on point. On the positive side, the rooms are fabulous, the pool and bar area is great with a good happy hour. Where the property falls down is the restaurant, the dinner there was expensive and the quality was poor. Think packet noodles and frozen seafood! The breakfasts are not much better, the fresh juice is nice, but the bread is completely stale, the same cheese has been put out every morning and is inedible, and the cooked breakfasts are pretty poor. As it is an isolated location (4kms from the old town) the on site dining needs to be sorted out and you would expect a shuttle bus to be offered. We raised the food issue to management and were told they were aware of the issue and were making changes in the future. The management did not recognise that for two afternoons the room next to us had a new AC unit being installed so it was not the peaceful stay we hoped for. The management really needs to be more involved as the hotel could be very special but fell short on our visit (and we were asked to give a 4 or 5 star review on leaving!!)

Our stay at Su Retreat Hoi A was exceptional. This small property radiates warmth, charm, and a deep connection to nature. Every detail, from architecture to decor, is thoughtfully designed to reflect the beauty of the natural world, creating a serene and rejuvenating atmosphere. Su Retreat has an incredible team, offering great hospitality, making us feel more like family than guests. A special mention to Anh, a trainee who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Truyen, at the bar skillfully crafted delicious drinks helped us around the pool. Ruby, the manager, runs the retreat with grace and professionalism. She accommodated our requests to make our stay comfortable. Alice at the front office was always ready with a smile and helpful advice, be it arranging transport or recommending local spots. Su Retreat has an Amazing Spa at the property, ask about packages at the reception. They therapists are well trained and we enjoyed our spa sessions. While I would have loved some more variety for breakfast, the food was well prepared and tasty. We Highly recommended Su Retreat for anyone seeking a soulful and authentic Hoi An experience.

Hotel room is nice and delicate. However, I feel like they are short of staff so the service is very slow. Pest control is also not good as there are mosquitoes and small insects around the garden and inside the room. A/C not working really well. Breakfast is awful, even basic dishes like Pho or Omelette is not well cook. Not a good stay in terms of value for money with the service this hotel is provided.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and we wished we booked it for 2 weeks. From the very first minute everything was perfect. If you are like us and enjoy a good nights sleep, beautiful landscape (and interior) and extremely service-minded people this place is for you. We recommend borrowing the bicycles for free and take your own personal tour around the area. We saw the beach, coconut village and old town. Everything is close!
