La Casa del Sol Holbox

Actually a nice place to stay in Holbox. The apartment we had was the biggest and perhaps the best on the 3rd floor but had lots of defects. No pictures with minimal kitchen equipment, 2 pots, a hidden frying pan, 2 pieces of cutlery of the worst quality. 2 rusty hotplates, 0.5 litres of rancid oil, completely rusty without salt, etc. Broken marble slab in the bathroom, protruding seals on the terrace, 1 defective lounger that was only repaired after the 3rd complaint on our 3rd day. 2 construction sites next door, the employees live in one of them on the weekend and make noise from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and loud music at night and on the weekend. No reduction in price after the complaint, only cleaned once on the 3rd day of a 7-day stay. In the region there are lots of big water holes on all the streets with endless mosquitoes. You live in a construction site region that will only be developed in the next few years. It is also difficult to get to the beach without getting wet feet or sinking into swamp holes!!! And then an arrogant property management that is never present!!!!

Das Appartment-Hotel befindet sich in Strandnähe und ca. 15 Gehminuten vom Zentrum entferne — Je nachdem wo man hin möchte. Die “ Straßen” und Wege sind noch nicht asphaltiert und bestehen aus Sand und teilweise Schotter. Wie überall auf der Insel sind diese noch nicht ausgebaut. An Regentagen können diese zu einer Herausforderung werden. Das Hotel verfügt über einen kleinen Pool, Liegen und Schattenplätze. Im 3. Stock gibt es eine Roof Top Terrasse mit Überdachung und Hängematten. Die Aussicht ist super schön. Unser Appartment bestand aus einem Wohnbereich mit Küchenzeile und einem Schlafzimmer. Die Einrichtung war zweckmäßig, mit Klimaanlagen und Deckenventilatoren ausgestattet. Aufgrund der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit kommt der eine oder andere Rostfleck zum Vorschein, was uns jedoch nicht wirklich störte. Leider befand sich der Kleiderschrank im Badezimmer, was nicht unbedingt optimal ist und der Küchenboden sowie Kühlschrank waren leider voller Flecken und wirkten nicht hygienisch. Auch der Mülleimer könnte ein Grundreinigung vertragen. Sonst war das Appartment sauber
