Jolly Swagman Motor Inn Holbrook

Exceptional service at the motel and very clean spacious comfortable room and beds. The motel is safe, close to all facilities and accepts pets. We stumbled across this affordable, immaculate little motel and highly recommend it and we will use it again in the future.

This is the third time we have stayed at The Jolly Swagman. Would have been four but we were too late booking on one occasion. Lesson learned! Jason is a terrific host and really knows how to look after his clients. Provides a warm welcome and insists on showing us always to our room rather than the usual welcome at most places of, take you money, give you the key and point you in the approximate direction. The rooms are always spotlessly clean, beds amazingly comfortable and the motel, being just off the Hume os delightfully quiet. If you have had a long day, it's great to unpack, relax for a while and then go to the adjoining Chinese restaurant with its very good food. A totally satisfying experience all round - and, to top it off, pet friendly!

This motel is a hidden gem when travelling along the Hume Highway The rooms are large, clean and comfortable The owners/staff are extremely welcoming and helpful even accompanying you to your room, turning on heating/cooling and offering assistance to carry items We have stayed several times,experiencing the same friendly old fashioned service

I've stayed here some years ago and the new owner is very hospitable and helpful. The room (6) was immaculately clean and the bed was warm and comfortable. I travel with a large dog and the motel is very much appreciated for their dog friendly policy. Very reasonable price. Will definitely stay again. MWKE

This lovely motel is the ultimate dog friendly experience. About half way between Sydney and Melbourne just off the highway, it has great dog friendly but spotless and comfortable rooms with everything you need for an overnight stay. Jason the manager could not be more helpful and they have a fenced dog run to put your pups in while you unpack and settle in! We travel with our dogs a lot ( 2 cocker spaniels) and they are right at home here.

We were having difficulty finding dog friendly accommodation, which allowed dogs inside, on our recent trip. So glad we eventually found the Jolly Swagman in Holbrook to stay at. The owner was friendly and helpful, the room spacious and clean and there was an attached Chinese restaurant where we were able to have a lovely meal. It did have a slightly ‘dated’ feel but all the benefits definitely made up for this. We’ll definitely want to be going back on our next road trip and highly recommend this place for any other travellers with pets wanting a break on the road.
