Appletree Holiday Park

The most atrocious service I've ever come across, told them about stinking mop left in the cupboard, the knackered sofa which I put pillows on for comfort and ripped net curtain on patio doors, patio doors had pieces falling off,no instructions for the electric fire, and remote in the draw, But the cutlery and crockery all needed cleaning before use, disgusting, spoke to the male sales officer and he said he would sort it out for us, the only thing done was the patio door and that was only half repaired, we have stayed over 10 times at the bay in Filey and any issues were dealt with immediately, bar staff were very good, but the rest especially the manager and sales representative absolutely rubbish, they know your going home after a week or two so they don't care,

We stopped in Boston West hotel very happy with room clean and comfortable would stop again maybe next time have a go on the driving range lots for the kids play area and splash pad it a nice touch good lay out . Look really posh but all staff we met was nice and down to earth.

This park is a nice, very small and quiet park. We just wanted to relax for a couple of days so suited us but there really isn't much to do if you are looking for a busy or active break. The caravan we had was nice,clean and well maintained, only gripes were there was no seat in the bedroom for the dressing table which is silly and no cabinets or shelves in the bathroom so absolutely nowhere to store your toothbrushes etc. I don't know if this is a caravan design flaw or company thing as we've stayed with various holiday park companies and the other time these 2 things were the same was at the sister site. Restaurant meals were nice and it was kids eat for £1 which was a bonus. Staff were all friendly. We used the driving range which we enjoyed and it has the screens to play games with it so that was good. There are 2 small kids play areas and a splash pad area however was a little disappointing that it was broken when we were there as there is very little to do on site. Not much in the way of entertainment there was a singer on the Saturday eve but no one seemed to know if bingo was definitely on and what time etc so we didn't bother. Nothing was on for the Friday or Sunday. A few of us also played foot golf, but felt this was overpriced as was a small pitch and the balls were quite deflated the game was over quite quickly so for £18 for 2 adults 2 kids it wasn't worth it, I feel a deposit for the ball would be more than adequate or a definite upgrade to the pitch us required to warrant the price. Overall a nice peaceful site with some lovely walking areas where you can see the deers and rabbits but really not suitable if you want activities and evening entertainment.

I stay here regular because I work in the surrounding area. It's such a. Competitive price for someone who needs regular hotel accomodations. It's also super comfy and quiet. Every time I come here to stay, Adam on reception always remembers me and is super friendly and helpful. The parking is freely available right outside the hotel too.

We stayed in one of the Woodland Waterside Lodges for a weekend, all four bedrooms were a great size, the beds were all comfy. The kitchen was fab with a huge fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine! The carpet in the living area could do with a clean, other than that it was super clean The kids loved the hot tub and the play area The staff were all super friendly. We had dinner in the bar, they do great offers on kids meals but you need to order at the bar and not the QR code to get the deal

1st time staying at Appletree for a couple of fishing matches at the nearby Westwood lakes. Stayed in a 8 berth luxury caravan, could have done with the extra shower room however the facilities were enough. Very helpfull & friendly staff who went above and beyond what we expected. Look forward to our next visit. Thank you Appletree.
