This is a charming 1700’s home - lots of common space to relax in - I had the green room which was very comfortable with it’s own bathroom. Breakfast was great with home made pancakes and porridge. The hosts are very friendly too. This is a nice quiet area very near Nashua.

The Owners Vivian and Dave are excellent hosts! My two night stay turned into 4! I made this trip solo and was new to the area! Vivian helped me get around and her husband Dave kept that old wood stove going! I loved sitting in the kitchen, brought back memories of my grandparents farm! Thanks Vivian and Dave, I will never forget you!! Peace, Vicky

Absolutely excellent! What a lovely place in a beautiful location. The hosts are amazing, so much attention to detail and so friendly. The room was so unique, beautiful and charming. The breakfast was a delicious and surprising combination of reliable favourites and yummy variations. We will be back.

My husband and I stayed here while attending a family wedding. We loved it! Our room was fabulous and we slept so well! The hosts were great and even accommodated us when I made a booking error-the wrong date! That had to be a nightmare for them, but they helped us graciously!! We loved the house and felt so at home. Breakfast was wonderful and we met so many other great traveling folks at the breakfast table, which we love to do! We will definitely stay here again when we are back in the area. The host and hostess were so friendly and helpful! We couldn't have been treated better! We would come back just to see them again! :)

Entirely misadvertised and the woman who runs it is defensive of these small things, making it even worse. - advertised as having a private bathroom and it does not - breakfast listed as 7:30-9:30am in the booklet that is in the room but it is not, it is at exactly 8am only which we were never notified about - the noise is terrible - I was woken up to people talking downstairs that sounded like they were in our room, and that continued until we left - woman running it just got defensive when trying to address the bathroom and breakfast, just saying “but we’ve had a lot of people stay without any complaint” - for every person who says something, though, there are a hundred who don’t say anything. - we had to “prove” to her that the listing was wrong bc she just tried to say that she didn’t realize and blamed it on ***********, though it is not the fault of ***********, it is the fault of the business and it is illegal to do this kind of bait and switch - she offered a 10% refund while asking “are you going to write a bad review either way?” - well, I wasn’t planning on it, but the fact that she tried to bribe us to not write a review means I sure as heck am now - on top of all of this, the bathroom was out of toilet paper with no more rolls available I suggest avoiding this place unless you want to have no idea what you show up to regardless of what you booked, then want to deal with a defensive woman who won’t internalize or listen to the issues. Note: I deleted and reposted this, bc her response illegally posted some personally identifiable information. The response also showed the inability to internalize feedback, and misguided perspective on that feedback. Example: We SHOWED her the *********** website where it clearly stated private bathroom in multiple places. I’ve added the photo to show that it said private bathroom, and yet she’s insisting that it does not show this. This is how delusional she is.

Timber Post B&B is a cozy retreat. The homemade breakfast, especially the chocolate oatmeal, was a highlight. The owner's attention to detail ensured our stay was cozy and unforgettable. An absolute gem of a getaway! We also ordered the charcuterie board ahead which was a perfect welcome treat for us to share as we arrived.

Very lovely B&B and is definitely the most charming place in the area so I'm so glad we found it! The room was huge and despite a few other long-term guests, it was very quiet. The breakfast was delicious and the host was very kind with interesting stories. The only downside if that she offers a "charcuterie board" on arrival, which is an amazing idea, but it was very disappointing- it included cheddar cheese cubes, packaged pepperoni, rolled turkey, black olives, almonds, and crackers. It was not clear to me whether this was included or not, but I was shocked to get a separate $40 charge for what was served. I'm happy to pay $40 for a wonderful cheese and charcuterie board with local items, but this was all prepackaged items at an incredibly high cost, so would not recommend adding this to your stay.
