Our stay was perfect from the moment we arrived. From the warm reception to being upgraded to the private cottage, Cally and Richard treated us to a wonderful stay. The homestead 3 course meal would have been one of the best meals we have ever had. Thank you both for a memorable anniversary we will be back. Carla and Ian Long

What I really love about this place is you can choose which ever level of pampering you choose. We elected to stay in the shearers quarters. ( You can stay in the homestead if you like.) We elected to cook for ourselves in the shearers kitchen. (You can be served delicious meals if you want.) We elected to drive the districts and see the old convict era buildings (You can just relax and take in the surrounds of the farm if you would rather) I could see a group of five or so couples all booking a room and sharing the kitchen facilities while having a camp fire in the evenings and exploring during the days. You can collect your own fire wood if you want. Cally looked after us and made sure we had exactly what we wanted. They appear to handle all levels of requirements from VIP events to eager drop-in such as ourselves. If you've never seen a platypus, you will here. A great place. Thanks Cally
