They shouldn't charge people for a so-called service fee. If they have that kind of fee they have to add it to the online listing so people can exactly know how much they will pay.

This is the first time I have encountered such a housing option. These are small hotels in the area that are united and have one reception (which is always full of people! If you imagine a typical crowd at the reception, here it is 10 times bigger..) When the taxi brought me to the address, it turned out that it was 2 blocks to the reception!!... There is an announcement on the house to call such and such a number!.. I am in roaming, I can not call anywhere!!! And what should I do in this case with a taxi?.. I had to ask to go to another place... See the photo list of hotels united here. In general, this is a good housing option, since the location is excellent - very, very close to the beach. But this is not a hotel, as such. Housing maintenance is every 3 days, you live on your own as if in your own house and next to you in the room live others who came in from a different door. I had a suite on the first floor. Very noisy air conditioner.. (prehistorically built into the door...) Not stellar condition (everything is old). To turn on the water in the shower, you have to pull the lever hard (not be afraid that it will break away with the wall🤣) Mini breakfast until 9.15!!! Not a minute later (not an even time, but 15 minutes, I meet for the first time in my life).. They close the doors and you can't get through for food. Although, in my opinion, there is nothing tasty except bananas... But I repeat - the location is excellent.
