Really comfortable hotel, great facilities. The dinner was a great surprise, good selection and very well prepared. Breakfast was ok. a reasonable buffet and excellent staff. Certainly great value for money and I will certainly return!

Very nice place to stay ,The room was basic but spotless with parking directly outside your door.The food in the restaurant was very reasonable priced and very good,The breakfast however was over priced at 13 euros per person ! Selection was poor ! Lovely boulangerie in holnan village only opens on a Saturday and Sunday but fantastic pastries 🍰 very reasonably priced.

Quite possibly the worst hotel we have ever stayed in over 40 years of travelling, which was my fault for not researching properly (that’s a first). It seemed like an ideal stopover point returning from Switzerland before the Eurotunnel departure the next day. On entering the room if I wasn’t so tired, we’d have left and found somewhere else, but were just out of steam and time. The tired décor I can live with, but the main curtains did not close, the spider webs said no cleaning had been done for some time, the light shade was broken and it smelt musty. We had to drape a blanket over the curtain rail for some privacy. The shower screen did not reach the edge of the bath, there was mould in the sealant and the plughole did not drain properly so we were paddling in whatever was in the drain. If I felt we could have changed to a better room I’d have tried, but thought they’d all be the same. Also, no English was spoken on check-in, and I didn’t think our rudimentary French would cut it. The restaurant was ok, with a nice steak and Bordeaux. Breakfast the next morning had a strange atmosphere, with the lady in charge stood, arms crossed watching over it all. We could not wait to leave. It’s the same group, Logis, as Le Val Moret we stayed in on the outward leg, but could not be further removed if they tried. Avoid at all costs.

Good comfortable room. We had dinner there which was excellent. I had 6 oysters, king prawn skewer, three local cheeses, and cafe gourmand my wife had mixed fish starter, king prawn skewer, cheese and parfait for dessert. Service was a little leisurely but that helped with digestion. It was great value for 34 euros.

I booked this hotel for its location and because it had a restaurant. Fine for an overnight stay. As per other reviews the room decor needs updating and the heating upgrading. I was not expecting modern luxury, the room was clean and bedding good quality (pillows could be better). The restaurant offered 3 set menus and the food was cooked fresh and very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay at hotel again.

We've stayed at this hotel a number of times now and will return again in a couple of weeks. I can only reiterate the positives that most others have said. It is an extremely handy stopover when heading north or south, literally only a few minutes from the autoroute, about an hour and a half south of Calais. We were even more impressed on our recent visit when we were delayed at the tunnel and arrived at 20.45. Although last orders in the restaurant is 21.00 we were told not to hurry getting our rooms sorted, and subsequently enjoyed a fine meal served by the friendly staff.
