I live locally and have been coming here over many years. It’s been the best it’s ever been. Love this place!! Great food, great staff and always good beer! Service is always welcoming. Sunday roast are amazing and the burgers are my favourite!

We stayed at the White Hart on our first night in England and it was perfect. Spotlessly clean, beautifully but calmly decorated and the staff was beyond helpful and kind. The room was cozy and there was a fan set up in the room which was greatly appreciated, although the temperature was pleasant in the room I sleep with a fan for the white noise and having one there was an extra nice touch! I would recommend eating here as well, the food is great!

As a female solo traveller I found the staff at the White Hart friendly and accommodating. My room was fresh and furnished very comfortably. Food was excellent and the breakfast set me up for the day. I would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Second stay in one year for me at this hotel. Really comfortable room with all of the things required. Really friendly staff and really good breakfast. Happy to stay here whenever I'm working in the area.

Really excellent friendly pub/hotel. Locals make you very welcome. Host and staff very friendly. Food excellent. Rooms excellent. If you want somewhere stay in the region this is the place to stay. Thank you to owners and employees for making our stay so enjoyable.

Warm,cosy room. Nice rain head shower, good toiletries, heated towels and comfy bed with good lighting, selection of refreshments in room - coffee, tea, waters, biscuits. Lovely people, welcomed by Jane who kindly showed me around. Really nice evening meal, bacon and sausage bap made early for me for breakfast as I had an early meeting, thank you Steph 👍. Would definitely return. Great experience all round.

Very clean and comfortable room. The shower was fabulous. I was born in Alton, so wonderful place to stay when visiting. The staff were very welcoming. The breakfast choice was really good. All freshly cooked. We will definitely be back.
