Wooden hut with a partial glass roof (for watching northern lights), built in 2018. Ideal destination in winter time for observing the northern lights and the night sky from indoor. The glass roof on the north side. In summer time, hut is lighted by the summer night sun (no curtains). There are two beds under the glass roof, kitchen, washroom/WC and vestibule.
The glass roof is heated, so it stays clear despite of changing weather. Bed linen/towels and final cleaning are included in rent.

Aarrekammi is a comfortable and well-equipped log villa, 250 km from Rovaniemi, near the Saariselkä tourist center, only 400 meters from the border of Urho Kekkonen National Park. The location offers great opportunities for hiking, skiing and enjoying nature all year round - Kiilopää Fell Center is 3.5 km away and Saariselkä services are 13 km away.

GGuest UserA beautiful view. Super opportunities for hiking with really nice overviews of the forests. Nice sauna by the lake. Also perfect for families. Super fishing opportunities with lots of fish in the lake and river. Exploring the lake by boat is a lot of fun.
GGuest UserThird time staying at this cabin now. The facilities, area and ease of booking are outstanding. One minor point is the seating arrandements. In previous years they had a large, L-shaped sofa that could easily fit 4 to 6 people. This has been replaced with
GGuest UserWell equipped spacious cottage, spacious enough for at least 5 people. Decent beds, however, for eight can be found. Two toilets. There were enough dishes, the bedding was of good quality. A small complaint about the quality of cleaning, the dust was by.
