The apartment has it's own private entrance, back yard, deck, fire pit, covered parking spaces and large parking area. The Hideaway's living room has a large smart HD TV with a Blu-ray DVD player (DVDs available), and free WiFi access. There's a massage chair, plus both ends of the couch are recliners. Also, there's a beautiful gas log fireplace so you don't have the hassle of loading firewood. A pull-down Murphy bed containing a comfy, queen size Tempur-Pedic mattress is hidden in the wall. (Our returning guests often fight over who gets to sleep on the Tempur-Pedic!) Plus there are folding doors so you can close this room off from the rest of the apartment, allowing it to serve as a second bedroom. The kitchen includes a stove, microwave, and refrigerator. And we provide a water purification system so you'll have plenty of fresh filtered water for drinking and for the coffee makers (coffee press, automatic drip coffee maker, and Keurig coffee maker.) There's also a large assortment of coffees, teas, and hot chocolate for your enjoyment. Plus we stock the Hideaway with breakfast snacks so you'll have something to go with your morning coffee. And if you're craving steaks or burgers, there's a gas grill just outside the back door (paper plates, bowls, cups, and cutlery provided). There's also a washer and dryer (detergent provided) if you need to do a load of laundry. The first thing you will notice as you begin to turn onto the driveway is that it is steep and curves up the hill. If your vehicle has 4WD we recommend you utilize it. If you do not have 4WDwe recommend you shift into low gear(L) if your car has that option. This will provide the smoothest ascent up the drive. Please keep your speed up ALL THE WAY through the curve to provide sufficient momentum to smoothly ascend the drive.. The climb will be worth it. Once you reach the Cottage at the top of the hill there is plenty of space for parking.ATTENTION BICYCLERS:We are designate "Mountain Bike Friendly" by the Brown County Tourism Bureau.We have a walk out basement that makes it easy to bring your bikes inside.
