Welcome to our camp perched on the shores of 1st Connecticut Lake. Inside has been nicely updated for comfort and amenity while keeping to the original charm and nostalgia of when it was built in the 50's. Walk in to a large landing area and drop all your bags to take in the beautiful views of the lake and mountains. The open concept great room and dining area allows for the entire group to gather and make lifelong Pittsburg memories. The kitchen is a step back in time with original pink Formica countertops, a wall mounted can opener and every kitchen gadget your grandmother most likely ordered from a Fingerhut catalog. We love it this way and hope you do too. There's no dishwasher except for whomever draws the short straw after meals are done. The loons will sing you to sleep in the three bedrooms that sleep 6 comfortably. We've updated all the mattresses and bedding for added comfort and coziness. Walk out onto the expansive deck off the kitchen to grill, watch the sunset and stargaze at night in front of a propane firepit. Walk down to the beach for a day in the lake to kayak, skip rocks, fish, swim or float. In the winter ice fish, downhill tube or take your snow machines out for a day's run. We have kayaks, a SUP, tubes and a canoe for your lake enjoyment. At this moment we do not have a dock, this is on the project list. There is a washer and dryer, wifi, smart TV's (roku's) and cell service for modern amenities. You are able to utilize our neighborhood snowmobile trail to access the Pittsburg Ridge Runner's trail system. Beautiful 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom home with additional sleeping in loft. Equipped to sleep 8 on the first floor and 4 additional people can climb the ladder to the sleeping loft. There are many amenities at Camp Coös that keep our guests happy and returning year after year. Indoor and outdoor speakers, games, fire pit, custom corn hole/bean bag toss, and gas grill (available seasonly), games and books. This unique home has been a unique staple in the Pittsburg community standing as an old Candy Store before being converted into a single family home. There is a slight slope to the driveway but many modifications have been made for ample parking and ease of access in the winter months. Camp Coös is your next home away from home with beautiful sunsets from the deck, direct trail access, lake access a short walk away and privacy. You will not be disappointed by a stay with us. The home is centrally located a VERY short distance down a private road. Within 5 miles of Young's General Store, 1840, The Buck Rub Pub, Full Send and Bear Rock Adventures. When renting with Camp Coös you will have access to the main floor of the home and loft. There is no access to the basement or the garage that is on the property. This beautiful home is located on 2+ private acres with a fire pit to the side of the home and a large deck overlooking the mountains and Lake Francis. We do not allow family pets at this time. We do make exceptions for crated hunting dogs during bird season. Unauthorized dogs will forfeit entire security deposit.We do have a cameras looking at the front steps and one on the garage door. We also have a camera on the back of the house facing a snow stick in the winter to monitor snow depth as well as the generator. There is a ring camera on the main door to monitor the steps. These cameras are on and only to used to protect the house when guest are not present. No audio recording. There are NO cameras inside the home. Equipped to sleep 8 on the first floor and 4 additional people can climb the ladder to the sleeping loft.Check in 4pm and check out 10am. This comfortable chalet is clean, smoke-free, fully furnished and is available in the heart of outdoor living. There are 2 bedrooms as well as a loft for sleeping. One bedroom has a queen sized bed and futon, the other bedroom has a queen sized bed, and the loft houses a daybed with trundle. In the living room, you will find a queen sleeper sofa. It has 2 private bathrooms (one with a jet tub), satellite flat-screen TV, fireplace, free wi-fi, cell phone service and can sleep 9 comfortably. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances. Outdoors you will find a covered front porch with a gas grill. Chairs and fire pit are located in the yard. Welcome to direct atv and snowmobile trail access, while enjoying the quiet waterfront of Middle Pond; an eight acre stocked public pond. Middle Pond Lane is off of Moose Pond Road, which is part of Pittsburg’s vast ATV and snowmobile trail system. Located .8 miles from Back Lake Road, this cabin is centrally located to Pittsburg’s amenities. Cabin consists of kitchen and living area, one bathroom, two bedrooms (one king, one queen), along with a loft consisting of two twin beds, a queen, and a pull-out couch. A sitting area on the porch, gas grill, and a fire pit are included. Top it off with a dock, kayaks, and a row boat, you have everything you need to enjoy the pond. (Please note: fire pit, dock, and boats are pulled from the end of October until Spring).No pets allowed. Check in time is 3:00 PM. Check out time is 10:00 AM. You will be directly on the trail system upon pulling down our driveway. Snowmobilers, for a reference point, we are located on Moose Pond Road halfway between Back Lake Road and Trail # 146.Q: Where can we park our truck/trailers so we can ride the trails for the day after we leave your property? Can we leave them at the cabin?A: Our housekeepers often have a five hour window in between guest stays. This window doesn’t just include cleaning of the cabin, but also mowing/plowing and other outside upkeep. We have to respectfully ask our guests that have checked out to utilize the designated parking lot across from the trail head on Back Lake Road (approximately 1.8 miles from Moose Pond Road). Q: Is there a sandy beach on the property?A: Like most designated trout ponds in New Hampshire, Middle Pond has a vegetative bottom/ shoreline. For swimming, we always recommend to our guests either Philbrook Beach on Back Lake (2.4 miles away), or the beach on First Connecticut Lake (7 miles away).Q: Are linens included?A: Yes! Towels, linens, and just about everything you would need in the kitchen are there. Toiletries, hand soaps, and paper products are not provided. Q: Is firewood/ fire starting materials included?A: No. We do have guests leave some behind for the next ones to use, but it is not always guaranteed to be there.
