Quiet cabin on 80 acres conveniently located off US 2 with comforts of home such as good wifi and 65” TV or step outside into the beautiful woods of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Relax by a fire, hunt, fish or make day trips. An hour west of the Mackinac Bridge and an hour east of Escanaba, 20 minutes to Manistique, 30 minutes to Kitch-iti-kipi, 15 minutes to Seney National Forrest, 45 minutes to Pictured Rocks and Grand Marais, approximately an hour to Tahquamenon Falls or the Soo Locks. The home price reflects the out dated but clean condition. Purchased the home last year as it’s adjacent to other cabins and land I own. One of few in the area that allow pets, especially larger breeds, please be honest with pets as it’s always extra work for the cleaning company. It is the UP! Expect mosquitoes. The Seney Cabin features a 1500 sq ft rustic log home adjacent to Seney National Wildlife Refuge for hiking trails, nature watching, cross country skiing, and fishing. It is located directly on the beautiful Manistique River for kayaking, tubing, and fishing. There are snowmobile and ATV/ORV trails just down the road. We are just a short drive to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, and many other tourist attractions. There is a fire pit and picnic table in the backyard for you to sit around and roast marshmallows. The cabin has a large full kitchen and dining table that seats 8, full size washer and dryer, interior stone fireplace, and full 400 sq ft deck with hot tub overlooking the river. Hot tub: We build in a charge of $20 a night for the hot tub. This is included in your nightly rate and is not an extra charge. If the hot tub is unusable during your stay you will be refunded $20 pet night for the nights it was unusable.The hot tub is drained and refilled every month or two. If the hot tub needs to be drained again a lot sooner than scheduled due to improper use or excessive debris following a guests stay, the guest will be charged a fee of $100.Security: You will find three outside cameras that only view the driveway, but these are not monitored. We want you to be able to enjoy your time at Seney Cabin. It is a beautiful place to get away and enjoy nature!!!This is listed as a two bedroom, but I want to clarify that the bedroom with a King bed and full mattress is a loft. The bedroom with the queen bed is fully private and located on the main floor.This cabin is located next to the river and surrounded by trees, making it a beautiful setting in nature. You may see fox, deer, or an occasional black bear in the backyard, which also means there are mice in the area. Every once in a while, we do have the occasional mouse that gets in the house. We work hard at catching them between guests and have traps that can be set when guests are there if they would like. We can go months without seeing any mice and then see a couple. Welcome to this newly remodeled interior house in Manistique. This wonderful property features 2 cozy bedrooms - one with a queen bed, the other with a queen and bunk bed. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and a hair dryer for your convenience. Additionally, there is a lovely living room with an extra pack and play for infants and a comfortable sofa for added comfort. Lakes are nearby for fishing and we are under a mile from the Haywire Grade ORV Trail and two miles away from the Hanley Truck Trail. For the days when you are trapped inside we offer a 65" TV in the living room that you can use for your streaming services or watch the free channels offered. Throughout the home you will have WiFi speeds of 500mb, the fastest speed in the area, for all of your internet browsing and streaming needs.
