The Kowloon Hotel

Too small, and the space between the beds is way too tight. The TV is a complete mess—the remote is so confusing I couldn't even figure out how to use it, and I couldn't even turn it off.

We booked a king room, but they just pushed two twin beds together instead. I wouldn't recommend accepting this setup—it's way too small and definitely not suitable for couples.

To start with, the front desk staff need to be more attentive to guests and understand that there are other booking apps besides *********** through which we make reservations. We paid online, but we had a hard time with the reception and issues with the room. We originally booked a Deluxe room and requested a king-size bed, but they gave us a twin room anyway and told us to just push the beds together 😰. In the new room, there was mold on the back of the pillows, which shows they don't check things properly. Also, the room was small, which I didn't understand. The only things I liked were the TV, which worked well with a good channel selection, and the location, which was good and convenient. There were no toothbrushes provided. Honestly, the hotel barely reaches a 2-star rating. If you're not picky, it's fine; but I'm very particular, so it was hard for me. You can stay here, but this hotel just wasn't for me.

Given the premium on space in Hong Kong, the room here is considered quite spacious for the city. The environment is acceptable, and the service is excellent. The best part is the incredibly convenient transportation; you can directly access the MTR station from downstairs without even leaving the building – it’s truly a game-changer. It's only a 10-minute walk to Victoria Harbour, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The Kowloon Hotel is also just 15 minutes away from the West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station. It's incredibly convenient, and I will definitely choose The Kowloon Hotel again on my next trip to Hong Kong. The only downside was the higher price during the October Golden Week; I booked a month in advance, and it cost 2800 for two nights.

The room was too old, and the 'deluxe room' wasn't spacious at all. It also had a stale, musty smell. The wooden bed and tables were peeling. It was just okay, I guess. The bathroom was tiny too, with no place to hang clothes.

Whenever I visit Hong Kong, The Kowloon Hotel is my go-to choice. Its prime location is a major plus, and it's always clean and tidy. You can directly access the hotel from the MTR station, and the Avenue of Stars is just a three-minute walk away. Overall, it's reasonably priced.

Very satisfied, great service, and most importantly, it's convenient to get anywhere. My room has a view of Victoria Harbour, which I'm extremely happy with.

The location is convenient, and self-check-in saved a lot of time. Luggage storage after check-out is also available. Every staff member I encountered on this trip was enthusiastic and dedicated. If I travel here again, I would prioritize returning to this place.
