"The hotel is located in Sheung Wan and therefore quite convenient. MRT station is close by and all the shops and restaurants are easily accessible. The amenities and services are basic. Drinking water must be purchased; so must disposable items such as razors. If you don’t expect much from your stay except a place to sleep in then this is an okay hotel."

"Considering that hotels in HK are LITERALLY SMALL, CASA Hotel's room sizes are 110 sqft which is 20 to 30% larger than common hotels which only have 68 to 86 sqft. The location is great, it's along nathan road, you'll never get lost. Also near in Yaw Ma Tei MTR station exit C. 7-11 is just at the side of hotel. The hotel maybe old and were given some negative feedbacks from other travelers, imo I still give them positive feedbacks for maintaining the cleanliness and good services of the hotel. Overall all, it was a great experience. Best value 3 star hotel."

"Noise from the other room at 4am - very loud and disturbing- unable to sleep. Complained to the receptionist, they did come up to see and then called the room. They were quiet for a few min and then continued even louder.  Our complaints made no difference whatsoever and therefore we checked out right away! The noise was really unbearable.  Although the staff was helpful but did not resolve the issue could’ve given us another room but no, there’s no other room.  I understand the building was converted from a commercial property into a hotel, but the room walls are too thin.  The feel and the vibe of the hotel is amazing, but again unfortunate that it was too noisy"

"after seeing so many comments about the rooms we were expecting something very small, but we were happy to see that it had a small table and plenty of space for two people and their luggage. the hotel was clean, the bathroom was perfect with a closed shower. it is an expensive price but it is normal in this city. the location is ideal, next to the centre with restaurants and near the metro. to come from the airport there is the A21 that leaves you directly and it is a double-decker. The only thing is that the bed is a bit hard, and it is true that the soundproofing is not the best, but you can only hear the corridor."

"Stayed for one night at the end of our trip just to do something a little extra special. Was not let down in any aspect except for our bath plug didn’t work 100% so it was making a constant draining noise and took away the ability to relax. Ozone was exceptional and the best experience in the hotel, which was made extra special by the staff (especially the guest experience manager Adam) and I would highly recommend it to anyone. It was the one area of the whole hotel that I felt you could really let your hair down and just be you!!"

Very Good
BbarlesqueeeWe had a fantastic stay at Royal Plaza Hotel! The room was incredibly spacious, which is a rare find in Hong Kong. The wide bathtub was perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day out. Everything was clean and well-maintained, giving us a very comfortable experience. The hotel’s location is super convenient—direct access to the MTR makes getting around the city a breeze. It’s connected to a shopping mall, which made dining and shopping very easy, and there’s even a playground that was great for the kids. We also loved how close the hotel is to the night market and several other malls in the area—plenty to explore within walking distance! Highly recommend this hotel for families, couples, or anyone who wants comfort and convenience in the heart of Hong Kong.

EEdiGThe hotel positions itself as a 4-star establishment, but it falls short of that mark. Here's a breakdown of my experience: Location: The location is excellent, if you don't mind a steep uphill walk. However, the entire island is built on different levels, which isn't a negative but rather a positive – a daily workout! There's a bus stop right by the hotel, making it easy to reach the metro instead of walking up and down, straining your leg muscles. Next door is a botanical and zoological garden where you can take a stroll. By the way, entry is free. A 10-minute walk down the hill leads to the cable car ”tram” stop for a trip to Victoria Peak. Check-in: Check-in was fast, but a USD 300 deposit is required, which isn't mentioned on either the trip.com website or the hotel's website. If you need an adapter for your electronic devices, ask for one right away – the receptionist won't offer it. Room: The room is relatively clean, though I did find some hair in the kitchen and on the bedding. For Hong Kong, the room is spacious, but there's nowhere to store a suitcase. You can set the temperature on the air conditioner, but it doesn't work. It only blows cold air, making the room humid. Kitchen: The kitchen is minimally equipped, but it's sufficient. However, upon check-in, they warn you that the stove can only be used for reheating food, not cooking, as the fire alarm system is very sensitive and might activate the siren due to hot steam. You must turn on the exhaust fan to full power and the air conditioner to avoid triggering the alarm. Why bother having a kitchen at all? Bathroom: The same situation as with the kitchen – you need to close the door and turn on the air conditioner at full power while showering to avoid the fire alarm being triggered by steam from the bathroom. The shower hose started leaking on the second day of my stay. It was replaced with a new one, which also leaked. When the technician replaced the hose, did he check if the equipment was working properly? I doubt it. Breakfast: Breakfast is only served from a menu, which is quite limited. It's delicious, but not diverse. Is this the service you'd expect from a 4-star hotel? The breakfast organization is chaotic – staff running around and clanging dishes. Two slow coffee machines and one toaster keep guests waiting in line. By the way, there are plastic mugs for tea and coffee. The only fruit options are two types of apples – red and green. Service: The service is polite, but I'd say it's ”on demand.” You need to ask for shampoo, shower gel, and dishwashing liquid to be refilled. The housekeeping, for some reason, doesn't notice the need to replenish hygiene products in the bathroom and kitchen. Environmentalism: As in all of Hong Kong, they no longer provide water in plastic bottles. That's good, but come up with an alternative so guests don't have to go to the store for water. In my opinion, this environmental concern is simply an opportunity to reduce service costs while maintaining high accommodation prices. Speaking of breakfast again, the jam and butter are provided in small plastic containers, just like on airplanes. Is this really about caring for the environment? Conclusion: Overall, it's a good choice if you're not bothered by the minor service inconsistencies and if you don't have high expectations for a 4-star hotel. If you're visiting Hong Kong, I'd recommend Two MacDonell Road.

CCaidaopoFor me, this hotel ticks all the boxes for a 5-star. Conveniently located right next to the airport, it even offers a free shuttle bus to the terminal, perfect if you don’t want the hassle of lugging your baggage through the train. The room is clean and comfortable, with a soft bed and a perfectly working shower with great water pressure and temperature. No surprises there, as the hotel is still fairly new, having opened just about two years ago. A thoughtful touch is the water dispensers, 2 units per floor, strategically placed around the corridor for easy access. Plus, getting to Central is a breeze, taking less than 25 minutes via the Airport Express. Highly recommended if you’re on a layover, or spending your last night in HK. If you have an early flight the next day, staying here is a much better option than taking a taxi from the city in the early morning.

CCasey BernandoPros: a very nice, beautiful and clean room. It’s like staying in a condominium. I genuinely liked the room and will come back to stay here again one day. The free shuttle is very helpful as well to send us to the nearest MTR.  The lady who works as a security or street controller was very sweet and helfpul. The views around the hotel are beautiful. Cons: 2-3km away from the nearest mall and neighborhood. I had walked so far away and still not arriving 🤣  Literally there’s nothing around the hotel so you gotta buy things beforehand otherwise you’ll be starving and thirsty! The hotel doesn’t provide drinking water which is crazy 😭 or maybe this is common in HK? Coming from Thailand, we are treated with full service and when we want something, they will give us immediately but here is different 😔  I just didnt like the fact that we had to buy drinking water cause this is a 4* hotel. At least provide a water dispenser on each floor.

MManta1Resort is an inflated term. Pool closed, spa closed, rooms are upstairs but there is no elevator so be ready to carry your bags. Small washer and dryer in the sauna room, outdated fitness equipment. Weird 'token' system for using the 'resort' things like washer or sauna.Interesting little game area downstairs, a couple kayaks and bikes to rent. Few real amenities that would make this a ”resort”. It's a decent hotel. The rooms are clean but the windows don't open so it gets very stuffy, the fridge froze everything and the bathroom is tiny and dated. My view was gross, so I kept the shade down. When the tide is out there is a beach, it is close to the ferry pier and a very pretty view when the construction is not going. The sun rises right in front of the hotel! Restaurant has a large menu for dinner, but only one choice for breakfast (set meal or nothing). What saves this place is the staff! They are wonderful, lovely people!

On my most recent hotel stay, the overall experience was very pleasant. The hotel is conveniently located close to major attractions for sightseeing and shopping. When checking in, the staff at the front desk were warm and friendly, completed the procedure quickly and efficiently, and made me feel right at home. The interior of the room is spacious, the decoration is modern and comfortable, and the bed is extremely soft, allowing me to enjoy a good sleep every night. The bathroom is well-equipped, clean and tidy, and the shower has strong water flow, making me feel relaxed every time I take a shower. The hotel's restaurant provides a variety of cuisine, and the breakfast variety is very rich. Whether it is Western breakfast or Asian style, it can meet the needs of different tastes. In addition, the hotel also has a gym and swimming pool, which allows me to stay active during my busy schedule. Overall, the hotel I stayed at this time exceeded my expectations. Both the service and facilities were excellent. I will recommend this hotel to my friends and look forward to visiting again next time.
