Very decent hotel located southside. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and bathrooms are nice. Amenities are very very basic - toothbrush bristles come off in the mouth. No shower cap and keeping the environment in mind understand it’s not kept in the room but it should be available upon request- I was told to go down to the vending machine and pay $10 for a cap ??
Engineering staff was extremely helpful and sorted out internet issues in a jiffy.
In general it was a pleasant stay
The place is very clean, quite and the staff are very accomodating. The bed is so good and comfortable. I highly recommended this place and this is one of my #1 choice of stay. Away from crowds, busy and noisy surroundings. The public transport is very accessible and there is a public market nearby which you can buy and cook your own food at the hotel , Mc'Dies and other restaurant are just around the corner. The hotel is near to Aberdeen and Ocean Park and even if you want to go to the beach, there is a bus stop near the hotel that you can hop in to go to deep water bay, repulse bay going down to stanley. There is also buses going to central and causeay bay and on the other side of the road are the buses going to the airport and macau ferry. The nearest MTR stn from the hotel is Wong Chuk Hang Stn.
Efficient check in and check out. Staff are all nice and helpful. Room is spacious but pretty simple. Location is good.

1. Nice Pool
Awesome pool view overseeing with the Aberdeen Channel and sea. Not overcrowding or rowdy at all in the morning. There is a separate water-play area for toddlers and slides for bigger kids. Sufficient life vests provided and life guards are in place.
2. Breakfast
We topped up for breakfast on last day at a high price (though slight discount are given for hotel guests). To our shocking dismay, there is nothing much to choose and eat for 4 of us (my elderly mother, big sister and my 6yo girl)! You can see from our picture how pathetic the foods we have on plates. Especially for a 5-star hotel standard!! There are zero international cuisine and dessert/mini cakes for selection; and the Japanese sides are simply off without any sushi or ramen counter.
Also, we are not seated at the main lobby area with the wide seating but placed in a further up seating section that are without much view and maximised space with many tables.
Spent close to S$200 for this standard?! Total waste of my money!!
3. Shuttle Bus
Upon checking in hotel, the staff never mention to me about the shuttle bus. So only when we decided to go to Ocean Park then I purposely enquired on night before. Wish their staff could be more helpful, otherwise more signage to point or direct the way.
4. Guest Room
Our room is furnished in classy style that are refreshing and pleasing to the eyes matching the great ocean view. However, it is a little cramped after we repositioned the chairs, to fit in our 4 luggage leaving only 1 tight pathway to walk up and down the room. Also the lamp shades are unbearable to look at, really rusty and disgusting.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Acra Hotel in Wong Chuk Hang, and it was a delightful experience.
**Location**: The hotel is conveniently situated, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. It offers a tranquil atmosphere while still being accessible to various attractions in the city.
**Cleanliness**: The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. Every area, from the lobby to the rooms, was well-maintained and spotless, which greatly enhanced my overall comfort during the stay.
**Atmosphere**: The hotel is notably quiet, providing a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city. This contributed to a restful environment, making it ideal for relaxation.
**Harbour View**: One of the standout features of Acra Hotel is the excellent harbour view. The scenic backdrop was breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset, adding a charming touch to my stay.
Overall, I highly recommend Acra Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and serene stay in Wong Chuk Hang. The combination of its great location, cleanliness, tranquility, and beautiful views makes it a fantastic choice for both leisure and business travelers.
Really nice location and great buffet breakfast. Baby slept so well in the hotel’s crib. Love the oversized tub, whole family can bath and chill like the Japanese style
Excellent location. Very convenient. Less than 1 min walking distance away from MTR station. There are many eateries near the hotel. The only setback is that the size of the room is super small.
Extended my stay for one more night
The room itself equipped with Apple TV, Netflix, YouTube channel. Also, free mineral water were provided. The room located next to the traffic, although it is on high floor, u still hear the noise.
Other than that, the bed is comfortable to sleep on.
The hotel provided shampoos and shower gel, however, bring ur own toothbrush or u can purchase at the reception for 1dollar.

The room is spacious and bright, overlooking Victoria Harbor. The room is equipped with a small refrigerator, microwave and other facilities, which can be used for simple cooking. All the staff of the apartment are also very friendly and nice!
The hotel is chic with Japanese boutique feel 60+ rooms. Optimal capacity for operation management. Room size is quite compact but tastefully designed to maximise space. View is stunning overlooking Aberdeen Marina with glass curtain wall. Deluxe pet friendly room with recliner is the best for a couple. Long stay is encouraged with attractive rates.
Due to glass curtain wall design, temperature is high during summer and air-conditioning is tuned to high breezy and noisy. Fine for day time but annoying for bedtime. Need to wear hoodie ear plugs and mask for a good night 😴 Service man is so helpful and installed airflow deflector to ease discomfort. Blanket is light and warm. Service is excellent by HK standard with complimentary breakfast. We love the communal kitchen with island bar. Oasis in Urban forest

AAnonymous UserExceeded expectations! Very new! Very clean!
The room is very large! There is a washer-dryer, microwave, and the public work area on the 3rd floor has a coffee machine, rice cooker, bread machine, induction cooker, etc.
The bed is also very comfortable! Although the location is a bit remote, it is only 2 subway stops away from Admiralty~
I will stay here again next time~
EEvon T.Good location with airport transport from Central, restaurant Umami has a excellent menu from lunch, happy hours to dinner selection. Thank you staff Ham for helping our luggages. The only trouble that I ran into was somehow the lobby reception mistaken we have breakfast during our stays. Over all, I will definitely be staying again for our next visit.
