Hong Kong Kowloon City District Hotels

Harbour Plaza 8 degrees hotel was definitely value for money and convenient with their free shuttle bus from Kowloon West Station to the hotel and another drop-off location near the pier and Nathan road. The hotel was very clean, staff friendly, and helpful. The 8 degrees Café' s charming seafood dinner buffet was a feast and had not only the best tasting seafood dishes but many more dishes, and it was delicious from start to finish! Would stay there again, any time!

The hotel room is nice and big. The beds are large single beds either king single or double bed. The hotel staff are polite and friendly. They let us check in early at 11am after our long 15 hour flight. Maybe subject to availability. The room service is good they cleaned our rooms, new toothbrushes and towels daily. The beds were made everyday. 2 minor issues were strong smoke in corridors but probably bc bad guests smoking illegally and no water bottles provided. The lack of water bottles is due to HK regulations to reduce waste due to tourism. But we still bought bottled water anyways so how did the regs benefit the planet?

Value for money. Room with ensuite toilet. Very small room and small toilet. Hotel is near a subway station. Many eating places nearby. Nothing to complain at this price in Hong Kong. If you are early, please note that luggage storage is chargeable even for less than 3 hours. Would be good if they can waive the short storage period.

This was a 700 rmb hotel. It wasn’t glamorous, but it was functional for an overnight stay. Walkable to Kai Tak stadium, we had breakfast in McDonalds just a 2 minute walk. It was safe. It had left luggage and we were surprised that they allowed us an early check in which was unexpected but super kind. Will be using this hotel again.

It's really beyond our expectation! Hotel located in quite a good area, walking distance to MTR, many bus stops around the hotel. You can easily walk to Kai Tak Stadium directly from hotel so recommended for those who visit for the concerts/ other events purposed.

Thank you to Nana front office staff - perfect professional and warm check in experience with outstanding language skills. Room was upgraded to tower sea view so the view was spectacular. Room is everything you would expect from 5* hotel. Clean and quiet. The sound proofing was amazing and bed comfortable.

One particular lady at the reception has major attitude issue. I asked for a simple gesture but ended up asking her to call a manager then it was resolved. Pros: 1.New hotel 2.Ok location 3.Shuttle to mtr every 30 minute/ however on return to hotel route we couldnt find the bus even though we were on time. 4.Breakfast is decent but once its 10:30am they literally take everything away including coffee mugs lol. So get there early i guess. Cons: 1. The employees seemed to have a little attitude problem maybe this is a hong kong thing? For example you cant even leave your baby cart for 30 seconds in common area or else they will find you and require you to put it in a “designated” area even though its literally not in anyones way lol. All in all, I think there are better hotels to stay. Apartment is really small, which is normal in Hongkong, but I don’t recommend travellers with huge suitcases to stay here as you will not be able to walk after opening just one normal sized suitcase. In terms of toiletries, we were given disposable towels, supposedly eco friendly but I would rather they not cheap out on this for a better experience. Good for a quick night stay as it is very near to the Ho Man Tin train station. Oh one thing to note is that, the hotel is situated in a district where all the surrounding shops sell funeral related products. If you are not comfortable, probably not the best choice.

Clean and comfortable stay. Lots of nearby stores and restaurants. Arrived late at night, conveniently received isntructions for checkin via Wechat. You can also leave your luggages in the hallway if you arrive early or has a late flight back. Note: there's really no storage area for luggages. Very near bus stop and train station.

Amazing stay and staff were so friendly. Nice location with metros and restaurants near by. WIFI was brilliant, comfy bed and ac great. Definitely recommend and will 100% be back.
