This seaside hotel is truly one of the most wonderful places I have ever stayed. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm welcome from the staff and the relaxing atmosphere of the ocean breeze. The location is perfect — right next to the beach, where you can hear the soothing sound of waves all day and night. The sea view from my room was absolutely stunning, especially during sunrise and sunset. It felt peaceful and refreshing, the perfect escape from the busy city life. The rooms are beautifully designed, very clean, and comfortable. Every detail shows the hotel’s high standards — from the soft bedding and ocean-themed decor to the thoughtful little touches like fresh flowers and complimentary snacks. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the balcony gave me a perfect spot to enjoy my morning coffee while watching the waves. The staff deserve special praise. They were kind, polite, and always smiling. They helped me with everything I needed, from arranging transportation to recommending local restaurants and activities. Their service felt genuine and personal, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel restaurant was another highlight. The food was fresh, especially the seafood, which was cooked to perfection. I loved having breakfast by the beach, enjoying the gentle breeze and the sound of seagulls. The buffet had a wide variety of choices, both local and international, and every dish tasted great. The facilities were also excellent — the pool was clean and had a great view of the sea, and the spa offered relaxing massages that made me feel completely renewed. Everything was well-maintained and clearly managed with care. Overall, this hotel is a perfect blend of comfort, beauty, and top-quality service. It offers a peaceful environment where you can truly relax and feel connected to nature. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable seaside getaway. I will definitely return again, and next time, I plan to stay even longer to enjoy every moment by the ocean.

I booked a double suite here a week ago. It was my first time in Hong Kong, and I assumed Mong Kok would be relatively unsafe. After reading numerous reviews of B&Bs, I felt even more apprehensive. So, I decided to stay for one night and then extend my stay if the environment was good. Arriving in Mong Kok, I was unfamiliar with the area, so I got lost for a while. Once I found my way, I discovered there were two entrances, one closed after 11 PM. There were also two elevators at each entrance, one for odd and one for even numbers. Upon check-in, the host was very welcoming. Perhaps because the double room was full or something else, they gave us a triple room with a window at no extra charge. The door had a combination lock, and the room was spotless, with spotless floors and immaculately white walls. There was no clutter on the bed, and the quilt was neatly folded. The bathroom was also spotless, with no odors or debris. It was a bit cramped, and the toilet had a long, lingering clatter after flushing, which I hope could be improved. There was also a small TV in the room, but the channel selection was a bit limited. The room also provided hangers, slippers, shampoo, and shower gel, but you had to bring your own toothpaste. Seeing this, I decided to renew my lease the next day. To my surprise, the double room seemed to be sold out. The landlord then asked me what I had paid for the room. Before I could find my bill, the landlord had already extended my stay for another night at 350 RMB, which was 2 RMB lower than the price on the platform! Overall, I personally felt the room was better than the promotional photos, exceeding my expectations. The landlord's service attitude also made me sincerely decide to write a positive review for her. 👍 I will definitely choose this B&B again next time.

It's what I expected for the price & location. Not the kind of place for the avg. traveller but for those who don't mind roughing it a bit it does the trick. The one issue I had was the short hard bed which gave me a sore back.

I was able to renew my room entirely because the aunt at the front desk kept saying ”Pretty boy” and got lost.

Room looks new for me in mongkok area plus the design is cool. Cozy, nice and coolness of aircon is great. Complete personal hygiene kit as well. Thanks

I looked at hotels for a long time when I was traveling, and I chose this one in a few hours. I didn't expect it to disappoint me. The room was very clean and odorless, and it was very quiet to sleep. The boss also provided free drinks and the like. The law in Hong Kong is Disposable toothbrushes and slippers are not provided, so we brought our own. The room is large enough for accommodation and large suitcases can be opened. After all, land is very expensive in Hong Kong, and everyone will definitely go out to check in at the attractions. The location is also very good. It's about two minutes from the subway station. The boss is very polite and supports luggage storage. I wish the boss a prosperous business and we will come again next time!

Rooms that are too small are not livable and provide a poor experience for tourists. Apart from being conveniently located in the center of the city, there is nothing to recommend it. The attitude of the waiter was good, but the mattress was so poor that it almost affected my sleep.

Ah Shan Hostel is certainly a hidden treasure in the area. Despite the crappy building outside, the hostel is in a class of its own. The room was neat and tidy! The toilet was Super Clean! The staff and boss are nice & helpful. Free drinking water on the side. If you travel with 2 or 3 buddies, Ah Shan is your choice! Break the cost, it is much cheaper than staying at backpackers hostels. With a better environment. The location is quite convenient. Mong Kok MTR Station Exit B or D. Check-in counter is on the 14/F. If the door is closed, just PRESS THE DOOR BELL or call them. They all speak English and Cantonese well.

economically great for family travellers, good location as it is accessible to night market, MTR and surrounded with malls and restaurants but inside hostel is quiet and can rest peacefully.  the only comment i had is some guests still insist to smoke even there are restrictions.

Given the high cost of real estate in Hong Kong, this family room was a good value. While the location was small, I was understandably satisfied with the cleanliness. I initially thought the air conditioner was an old window unit, but it turned out to be a new Midea model. Located within a residential building, it's convenient for commuting to the subway and shopping. Laundry can be hung out to dry in the hallway. The owner and cleaning lady were very friendly. After checking out, you can leave your luggage in the hallway outside your room. It was a great way to explore before leaving without having to carry your luggage. The free phone card included with your booking was also very convenient. Simply enter your phone number and log in to Hong Kong, and you'll have internet access.
