I recently stayed at Regal Hotel and overall, I had a pleasant experience with a few areas that could be improved.
Location:
The location was incredibly convenient. The hotel is surrounded by shops, restaurants, and malls, making it easy to explore the area. One major plus was how easy it was to get a taxi right outside the hotel, especially since Uber was not working for me during my stay.
Breakfast:
The breakfast offered was quite enjoyable. There was a good variety each morning, and everything was well-cooked and fresh. I appreciated the range of options and the consistent quality during my stay.
Room (Executive Suite):
Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the executive suite. I chose it expecting a notable upgrade from the deluxe room, but that was not the case. The room was the same size and layout as the deluxe room my friend stayed in. In fact, her room was better designed and noticeably cleaner. The design of my room felt dated, and some details were subpar for an “executive” level room: the curtain was slightly broken, the sofa had visible stains, and the toilet had a yellow discoloration. I was hoping that being on the 33rd floor would mean a more spacious, modern, and luxurious room, but that was not my experience.
Service & Staff:
On a positive note, the hotel staff were exceptional. They were extremely helpful, professional, and friendly. Whether I needed help navigating the city or having an address translated into Chinese, they were quick to assist and always accommodating.
Overall:
While I was quite disappointed with the room quality, especially for the price paid for an executive suite, the location, breakfast, and outstanding service made the stay worthwhile. With a few updates to the room interiors and a clearer distinction between room categories, this could be an excellent choice for travelers.

Despite the fact that the Hotel wasn't sold out on the day of my check-in, the hotel doesn't allow any early check-in and had to wait till 1400hrs in the afternoon.
Simple and no frills hotel, only disposable towels for face and body are given, paper cups.
Location was great as it's in the vicinity of Causeway Bay and walking distance to a lot of nearby places.
Housekeeping was good I would say as it's done daily.

My brother recently stayed at iclub Wan Chai Hotel and had a great experience! He really liked the location—it’s super convenient for getting around Hong Kong. The room size was decent, providing enough space to feel comfortable. The hotel itself was in good condition, well-maintained, and clean. He also found the cleaning service to be reliable which made his stay even better. Overall, it was a solid choice for a practical and well-located stay.

Excellent hotel in a great location just next to the metro entrance. Upon check-in we were thrilled to hear we’d been granted a free upgrade to a suite. The suite was one of the nicest hotel rooms I’ve had, with a full living room, awesome skyline views from both rooms, and two bathrooms including a large tub in the room. Highly recommend.

The place is close to tram and mrt which made our commute easier. Unfortunately, it is too far from disneyland. The hotel was clean and neat. However, the room is small and too tight. The receptionist seems friendly because they gave us extra bath towel during our stay. No free bottled water so you need to buy from the convenience store. They have free hot drinks at the ground floor near the elevator lobby. Though we only found out later because we were never brief upon check in. Too sad. There also self service laundry in the hotel. Overall, I am satisfied with our stay.

The location is good. Small room and small bathroom and you don't expect to stay in the room for long. Jacuzzi with the view is amazing, however the Jacuzzi has been leaking so that is a bit disappointed. The security isn't good and without key you can still manage to get into the room.

Loved my stay in this newly furnished room! It was cozy and spotlessly clean. A really considerate feature was the availability of both firm and soft pillows. The location was convenient, with easy access to everything I needed. A great, comfortable choice at a reasonable price!

I travelled solo and arrived early to drop off my luggage. To my surprise, I am told they have a room ready for me (just past noon time) and furthermore, a king-size bed instead of a queen bed I requested.
My room is very spacious and very clean. While the location is 6-8 minutes away from the nearest MTR station, I found it acceptable.
The bathroom is tiny though. Wifi is excellent. Unlike other hotels in Asia, no free water, no toothbrush which I have no issue with...

Very Good
PPhilllyExcellent hotel, one of the best views in HK and great service. Want to thank Tyra for the best welcome I’ve had at any HK hotel - even better than W which is close second. Breakfast here is the best in the region - though I do miss the queen coconuts you used to have! Great work Hyatt keep it up

EEm LookI suggest upgrading the guest room door lock, as it requires slowly inserting and removing the room key card, which can be confusing for meor other guests and inconvenient when needing to visit reception for assistance. And thr ceiling light above the bed pillows flickers every 10 seconds, even when turned off, which is quite disruptive. I didn't ask for help as I was so drunk that night. Hmm there are also several other defects in the room actually. I recommend that the hotel manager and directors conduct a thorough walk-through to identify issues together, as relying solely on the cleaning team—who manage numerous rooms daily with only 15 minutes per room—may not suffice for quality improvements. Despite these issues, the room price is very reasonable. And I was with some other frds occupying around 10 other rooms and saying all good. So I still give a high rating overall. I was in 903 if I remember correctly

AAnne#04Absolutely loved my stay here! I booked it for the convenient location (you can reach 2 metro lines walking from hotel through the sky bridges, and the star ferry 😉 in no-time!)
From the moment I stepped into the hotel and room, I was genuinely blown away. The space was not only luxurious but thoughtfully designed down to every detail, the bedding was clean and comfortable. I had breakfast included which I can recommend the choices are very diverse with slight changes each day. Staff was very polite and helpful!
The elevator was fast and smoothly and I stayed during a vacation period, (I stayed on the 37th floor - 3 floors away from top level)
This stay didn’t just meet my expectations it completely exceeded them. I can’t wait to return, need to save up but will be worth to stay again!!

GGuest UserGreat location, Wan Chai station entrance is just a short walk across the street and there’s bus stop in front of hotel. To go to airport, you need to go to another bus stop which is also a short walk from the hotel and most importantly, mostly flat so no worries about walking with your large luggage on slope.
Even though my room was located on low floor and right in front of the lift, it’s not noisy. Bed are comfortable but pillows are too flat/low, needed 2 pillows. Toiletries was not provided due to HK government policy to reduce carbon footprint and the staff does inform during the check in process so make sure to bring your own toothbrush toothpaste vanity kit shavers and shower cap. No bottle water provided but there are water dispenser on 19th floor for guests to fill your own water bottle. Mini fridge and kettle are provided.
Generally pleasant stay with lots of good food nearby.

VVon@We stayed for 5 nights. Room was generally spacious considering in HK standards. Walking distance to Wanchai subway and Convention. Our room facing to Hopewell Centre. Quite a nice view. Air conditioning rather noisy. Other than that no complaints.

MMeilisa Sugino**Stylish Minimalist Retreat in Hong Kong**
TUVE Hotel is a hidden gem in Tin Hau, offering a peaceful escape with its sleek, minimalist design. The rooms are impeccably clean, well-equipped, and surprisingly spacious for Hong Kong. The staff is professional and attentive, ensuring a seamless stay. While there’s no in-house restaurant, great dining options are just steps away. Perfect for those who appreciate modern aesthetics and tranquility. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe room was surprisingly big for Hong Kong, although definitely could be renovated. I was disappointed by the breakfast. You get to choose one option out of four and they are all kind of Chinese fast food, like instant noodles. Plus throwing menu to the guests tables is not very pleasing. The atmosphere during breakfast wasn’t good so I hurried to finish it and left. Didn’t even show up the rest of my stay.

PPeteDaveClean comfortable bed, service was good and friendly. Room was spacious. Nothing much to complain about, just that the hot water was not hot enough even turned knob to far left end and weather still slightly cold at this time of year… don’t know if it’s because of high floor ?
Room decor was dated but not worn out and is cleanly maintained well….
Bedside USB charging ports are loose unable to charge so needs replacement
Location is Wan Chai rather quiet and late night no food around as mainly I think is a corporate CBD area on HK Island which cannot be compared to Tsim Tsai Tsu bustling night scene.
Though there are a few good restaurants across the street on Johnston Rd … Boston Restaurant is a good place! There is a Manning shop opens till 9:30pm and a Supermarket opens till 11pm.
Quaint area as there is a functioning Old Tram system still operating… 👍👍👍
If u take to Wan Chai MTR amd have heavy luggage’s it’s advisable to use Lift next to A1/A2 Exit to access Hennessy Rd 5mins walk to hotel )see photo of lift location )

GGenya2kIt was quite hard to figure out how to checkin as it’s a self-service. But I got helped through WeChat (need to have it for foreigners, otherwise no connection to the customer support). The hostel is all right, capsules provide privacy, the bathroom is spacious and well-equipped. WiFi works fine.

Ssiu sin wanThe rooms are often considered special. I like the bathtub. The most special thing is that there is a head-shot screen. I only saw it once at the Continental Hotel. I have tried many hotels on the left. The room is considered civilian. The last time was ok
