LliyouliThis is a great accommodation experience! 1. The hotel is in a great location. It is located in the center of Mengzi City, on the edge of Nanhu Lake. The lake view room is an excellent enjoyment. 2. The hotel can easily visit Nanhu Park. We arrived on the evening of April 4th and went directly to Nanhu Scenic Area after dinner. The lake view at night was colorful and beautiful. It was the best location to see the lake view from our accommodation room. 3. The equipment is very good, and the detergents are very good. Hilton's supply chain is unquestionable. 4. The service is especially good, which is the deepest feeling. The front desk staff (Xiao Lu, Xiao Shen, Xiao Li, Xiao Liu) are very enthusiastic and professional. They are not only proficient in the procedures of hotel check-in, but also very clear about Mengzi's travel, surrounding dining and shopping, etc. From them, I feel the corporate culture of Hilton Hampton Hotel and see its advantages in employee training (especially as a corporate trainer).
Because of the very satisfactory hotel accommodation of Hilton Hampton Hotel, we felt great when we came to Mengzi for the first time. I want to come again and will come again, just for the Nanhu view room of Hampton by Hilton, I will come to Mengzi again and stay here again.

RRamonjaThe owner is very friendly and was easy to communicate with (via translate app). We got a great room with private bathroom. Whilst the bed is a bit hard en the toilet off the squad type, that is to be expected in this part of Asia. We had a great stay here as it was just a short walk from the lively old town centre. Would definitely recommend this place to other western traveler’s. The other guests were welcoming to us and some spoke some English with us.
Oh there is free drinking water from the ancient well, hot water and the owner shared a lot off fresh fruit with us.

The boss was very enthusiastic and cheerful. He was an open-minded person. He arrived early and welcomed me. He upgraded me to a king-size bed room in the old house and recommended many delicious local restaurants.
The location of the B&B is superb. Many scenic spots are within walking distance. Once you open the door of the B&B, you will see a different world. It is very beautiful. It is obviously decorated and designed with care. The lighting is also great.
The room is really good value for money! Neatness and cleanliness are the basics. The key point is that the bathroom takes care of the hygiene habits of different ethnic groups. This is not considered by most five-star hotels in China, let alone B&Bs. It is so considerate!
This is my first time staying in a B&B and I haven’t even left yet. I want to come back next time. It’s really great. It’s also the first time I recommend it so highly! I hope everyone will come to Jianshui. It’s really delicious and fun to stay here. Comfortable!

ZzuriahI would say everything was great except the room.
Location -- this is the main reason I choose the place. The rice terrace is in front of your room. Superb. There is rooftop to see sunrise too However, the place is not accessible for car. You need to park your car at car park around 300m from the hotel, call the hotel to pick up your luggage and you walk to the hotel by foot. It's not suitable for people with walking difficulties.
Service'-- toiletries are generous. Breakfast is great with various options. Rooms are cleaned daily with new top up of toiletries and slippers. We can do laundry too. Detergent are provided.
Why I give amenities 2 stars only? It's because I meed somewhere to give feedback on the room. I stayed for 3 nights at 2nd floor. There are 3 rooms of the same kind. However, my room has weird design. While the other two have perfect squarie room and spacious, our room, at thr most corner is smaller with bad design. There are wall built to cut off a space around 2x3 m. See pictures. It”s hard to put our luggage. There is sofa without tables. I suspect no space to add a table as it will block to walk way, not so confortable.

CcicyhThe inn is located in the ancient city of Jianshui, very close to the Zhujia Garden, Jianshui Confucian Temple, and the Academic and Political Examination Shed. Online taxis can be picked up and dropped off directly at the door of the inn. The inn also provides electric bicycles, tricycles, and car rentals. The family room we booked has one 1.8-meter large bed and two 1.35-meter beds, which can accommodate 3-4 people. The room is clean and tidy, and the room rate includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and a free pottery making experience. The service at the inn is very considerate. Each room has an introduction to Jianshui tourist attractions and guides on where to eat, live and play. All in all, the price/performance ratio is good and I recommend staying there!

AAaron CedricI love this hotel! The room is so atmospheric, with large windows connecting you with the beautiful scenery outside. On a foggy day, you cannot see any of the terraces and there's not much to do outside, but the room is at its most magical in the fog... the view looks like a famous Japanese screen of 'pine in mist'... or a Song dynasty painting. Incredibly beautiful.... I wish I spent more time in the room! The location of the hotel is perfect for those who want to see the sunrise over Duoyishu, since you can view it on the roof or, if you want to go to the best viewing platform that's only about a 10 minute walk away. The hotel is also semi-walking distance to Azheke Village, which is 45-60 minutes by walking on the ring road. Every morning the hotel serve rice noodle soup using local red rice.... it's quite nourishing to start a day of hiking. Oh, and the boss is really friendly and helpful. He seems to only speak Chinese, but I think he will go out of his way to be helpful if you dont speak Chinese. He makes great recommendations and even seems to be good at forecasting the weather to help you plan your trip. He definitel 'knows the hills.'

BBrownThis was my third trip to Yuanyang rice terraces to watch the harvest, that I am fascinated by, during harvest season My previous trips I stayed at OneNess Resort (1/2 mile from Cloud). Both are great. Oneness is newer but Clouds has a vintage personality that is hard to beat. When I arrived, I was disappointed that there was no regular chains or small desk or table to sit at to work on computer and organize the daily videos that I captured. I just mentioned this to the manager and I went out to explore the area. When I returned, he had brought a table and chair to my room and placed them on the rooms terrace. The people here are so friendly and I personally take service and friendliness of the staff at the top of my list, Two of the young girls (sorry for the phrasing but I man 78 and we always used to use that terms as a compliment) tracked me down to invent me to come to the reception area and they would make me coffee. I was heading out so they quickly went back to the main reception and then returned to give me several “brew in you room” coffee pods. Fabulous location, fabulous people.. I’ll be back - God willing.

YYing ErAt 1st, kinda disappointed when u saw the entrance of the building, when u entering the lift u started feel something wrong, this hotel located at 19 floor, once the lift door open , u will like Damn this is so clean n tidy, staff is friendly n helpful.. the hotel is super new like brand new, and bed it’s comfy too.
So I have several spot to travel , n this was my last station which I booked earlier . I need to stay in Kunming for last night coz I need to go airport super early morning, but beside the last night, previous schedule was kinda free n easy, so when I back from lijiang ,I only decide travel to Mile, due to my father whose 70++ yrs old, come along with me, so I give try if we can leave our luggage one day early, so we dun need to move so much things, the staff allow us to do so, I mean to me it’s really helps a lot.
On the day we check in they upgrade our room too.. I mean this is really recommended, n it’s near to train station around 10-15min by foot.

GGuest UserWe had a fantastic 4 night stay at Rice Field Ideal Homestay. The room was very comfortable, with a great bed, and every time we looked out the window, we had to pinch ourselves because the view was absolutely stunning. The guesthouse is located just above the Blue Terrace, not far from Azheke Village (mushroom houses) and a few minutes drive from the Duoyishu Terrace. Xiao Gao, the owner, is a local. He took amazing care of us, upgraded us and made sure we had the best stay. When he realized we had no means of transportation, he drove us himself to various terraces and viewing points in his car.
Reaching Yuanyang can be a little tricky, so here is how we got there: we took a train from Kunming to Jianshui, and contacted Rice Field Ideal Homestay on WeChat to ask for a transfer by car. It cost 120 yuan/person, and the drive from Jianshui to the Blue Terrace took about 2.5 hours. Easy peasy.
We highly recommend staying there and hope to be back one day. Xiao Gao and all his family are amazing people.

AAnonymous UserThe boss is a lady from Henan Province. She is very welcoming. Before I left, she introduced a chartered car driver to me and reserved an electric blanket for my room. After arriving, we were introduced to the free viewing area and could order food and cook at any time. But to be honest, the room was still a bit cramped and there was barely enough space between the beds. I heard that the voltage on the mountain is unstable and there are always power outages. I also caught one this time🙈
The inn is not far from the Duoyishu Observation Deck, and it only takes ten minutes to walk there. There is a village below, where you can go down to the terraced fields and take a stroll.
After I went there, I realized that the price and quality of accommodation at Yuanyang Rice Terraces vary greatly, especially during holidays, so it depends on your personal preference.
